The sales person was not only very knowledgeable about art and other products, she went above and beyond to help us choose stools and art. She asked me to show pictures of my livingroom and kitchen area and was able to show me art and stools that went well with the two areas. I will definitely request her as a sales person when I come to the store to purchase other furniture. If you visit Upper Room Home Furnishings, you will not be disappointed with their furnishings. If you visit the store ask for Joanne. She is amazing!!!

DO NOT Recommend! Was my favorite furniture store. Ordered a nice power lifting chair for Dad. BUT it now shakes as it moves and leans to one side. Their contracted technicians are unable to repair it so the service department told me it is normal to wobble and lean. It's a Palliser chair, very expensive and falling appart!

We are very happy with the service we received. We have a relatively small living room with two entrances. It is difficult to choose pieces that will fit and challenging to arrange them in the space. Alyssa provided expert advice and guidance. We are very happy with the furniture we purchased last spring, and look forward to the new end table we just ordered.

Terrible customer service.Terrible delivery serviceNever go to this store again.- The person who delivered my bed said something is missed for my bed platform and after 3 weeks and 100 times calling them, they said nothing is missed!(not able to use it)-delivered with some damages to the bed frame and our house!- delivered a wrong mirror and after three weeks, delivered a wrong mirror again!!! Now order again and have to wait for another 6 weeks(originally ordered in Fall 2021)Not acceptable at allVery disappointedMobilia and EQ3 provide me the best delivery service so far.After 2.5 months they delivered the mirror and couldn’t install it properly….The worst experience I have ever had in canada

Their extended warranty is a scam, do not buy, it's just the manufacturers warranty and they will continue to find excuses not to help with the poor quality furniture. Customer service takes days to reply, but their quick to take payment.

Shopped at all the major brands and overall found the furniture business to be smarmier than used car shopping.I was expecting a better experience at Upper Room reflecting the premium price point and local family run owned image but the experience did not meet my expectations.Ultimately my issue was resolved (after 3 levels of escalation and the initial one star review), but there was a disingenuous nature to every interaction that left me with impression customer experience takes a back seat to sales numbers.The positives --my experience at the Hunt Club location was better than the Kanata one.-they had some beautiful and unique pieces not found elsewhere.- on the few elements we price shopped their base pricing was competitive with their competitors sale pricing

I ordered a recliner chair from Upper Room in Kanata in July 2022 with an anticipated date for delivery of up to 8 months. The chair was delivered a month early which really pleased me. The two young delivery guys were friendly and made sure to place it exactly where I wanted it. I was impressed by them. I was also impressed by Kim Jamer, the original sales person with whom I dealt with last July. She was very knowledgeable and gave me all the time I needed before I ordered the chair. Your staff at the customer counter was very helpful as well.I know where to go if I need more furniture. Thanks.

Worst customer service. I booked for a dinning table a year ago and paid 50% price. Called the sales rep before the delivery to cancel the order and provide refund. The rep said he will followup and its been an year and didn't provide any response.I don't recommend this company.

Excellent service bordering on too pushy. My husband and I were approached by four different people within 5 minutes. They must be working on commission which I understand, but it's also annoying. Also weren't given correct pick up instructions from distribution centre. Correct instructions are written in small print on the paperwork but answers to direct questions were incorrect and therefore created issues upon pick up. Was told I could go anytime between 10-3" and just call 15 mins in advance so they could pull the item for you. Was already on the way and called and was told that you have to book a day on advance. So
