St. Marys Weddings

We had our wedding in the Hideaway at St. Marys Golf and Country Club on June 10th, 2022 and have nothing but good things to say! The staff are phenomenal. Rebekka was our consultant and Kristen was our Maitre D. They were both amazing, very accommodating, and were there for anything my husband or I needed through the planning process and on the day of our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing and so tasty. All of our guests raved about our starter - forest mushroom chowder. By far the best soup I have ever tasted. We also upgraded to the rib eye - which was also phenomenal and cooked just perfect to every guests preference. Our late night station was the poutine bar and was also a major hit with guests. We had booked with Kim Foster (Above and Beyond Event Design and Decor) before they were part of the St. Marys team. They were absolutely amazing. Kim and her team are very thorough and thought of every little detail possible. The planning process was seamless and I kind of let Kim take the reins as I am not a very creative person. When I got to SMGCC the morning of my wedding, SMGCC, Kim and their teams were already basically done setting up and were just adding the finishing touches. It was truly amazing and so stress free. At the end of the night i took the few pieces I was keeping and left. I didn't have to worry about dismantle or cleaning up anything. I highly recommend SMGCC and their teams. They truly made my wedding day stress free.(In the photos of the head table, the bridesmaid bouquets went in the vases along the table and my bouquet went in the vignette in front of the head table, just missed getting pictures of it)

As several couples have said before us, it is truly difficult to know where to start when it comes to reflecting our phenomenal experience with St. Mary's Golf and Country Club for our wedding on September 17, 2022.Our experience started with Hailey, who was the first person we interacted with at SMGCC. She toured us at the venue, answered all of our questions, and was such a lovely person to interact with, and this ultimately lead us to choosing SMGCC for our venue. We then worked with Rebekka for the remainder of our wedding planning and WOW, we truly can't say enough nice things about Rebekka. She was EXTREMELY helpful, kind, patient, and always responded so quickly to my many (excessive) e-mails and questions. Not only did she respond quickly, she was always so kind and ALWAYS tried her best to accomodate all of our requests. We couldn't believe how organized and detailed our 2 planning sessions were leading up to the wedding, and it was these sessions with Rebekka that always got us so excited for our wedding and also really helped with all the nerves we had! We put all of our trust into her and she blew our expectations out of the water. It meant so much to have her there for a few hours on the day of our wedding too and see a familiar face. She was there long enough to help me with a mini-crisis when I got make up on the very front of my dress and THE GIRL WAS ON HER KNEES WITH A BLOW DRYER SAVING MY LIFE LOL. I MEAN COME ON!! Rebekka, we are so, so thankful to have had you!On the day of the wedding, my husband and I were so impressed with how everything went. We were truly able to just show up and relax and know that we would be where we needed to be, and everything would happen when it needed to happen. Audrey was such a kind Maitre 'D, and was always responsive to every day-of request or issue. Blair was also just such a rockstar who managed to get me Redbull from the STAFF's supply, because I was exhausted. This was truly such a clutch moment for me.Absolutely also have to give credit to the bar staff and the kitchen staff, chef, and servers. As expected, we had so many people compliment every aspect of the meal. The soup (OMG), the beef, and the dessert and late night food...literally someone had something to say about ALL of it. We weren't surprised at all given our incredible experience at our meal tasting earlier in the year where we had an opportunity to eat EVERYTHING off of the menu. I also have to mention how many little changes they accommodated to make our menu perfect for us!Wow, after all of those stories I'm sure I'm sounding like quite the drama queen/bride-zilla, but I think it truly just goes to show that any couple should have no hesitation in choosing SMGCC for their wedding!!Kristina and Jody

Our wedding was an absolute dream! Everything was so well orchestrated right from the moment we reached out to SMGCC. We had our first initial visit and reviewed both the available packages and pricing and we booked right there on the spot! From this moment on, we were well taken care of by our AMAZING wedding coordinator, Taryn! She asked us all the right questions and housed all our documents while keeping us up to date with any upcoming meetings or required items. She truly made our wedding day vision come to life! It was so nice walking into our wedding day and feeling like we were in the best of hands. Taryn and her staff ensured everything was handled and myself and my husband got to sit back and see our beautiful day unfold! The SMGCC team did an amazing job, from the food and drinks all the way to the set up and decor, everything exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend both this venue and their decorating team (above and beyond).

St. Marys Golf & Country Club was the dream venue for our September 2022 Wedding! We can’t express enough how incredibly thankful we are for all their team had done to ensure that our special day ran smoothy, it was absolutely perfect!From the very beginning, our Special Events Consultant Rebekka, was lovely to work with! Throughout the entire planning process, she answered multiple questions of mine with such expertise and offered great advice. Every response was not only prompt and clear but also enthusiastic! She was genuinely happy to assist us and was so excited to see our big day come together!Kristen, our Maitre D’ for the rehearsal and wedding day was just a gem - she had great energy, such a positive attitude and was so much fun! We were all very impressed with her assistance and really enjoyed her presence!Everyone we interacted with from SMGCC was so professional, respectful, kind and caring. They made not only my husband and I feel amazing but our parents, bridal party and guests were all blown away with the attentiveness they were all shown.The food was absolutely delicious! Every single guest we spoke with was raving about how much they enjoyed their meal. Our compliments to the chef and the staff who helped prepare and serve!We are over the moon with how wonderful our wedding day turned out! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone at SMGCC who had a hand in making this one of the best days of our lives! Highly recommend this fantastic venue!

We initially landed on having our wedding at St Marys Golf & Country Club because of the location between our two families. We quickly became impressed by the entire team. The planning process was seamless and our planner ***Rebekka*** was attentive, sweet, thoughtful and touched base with us throughout the entire planning process. Despite all the nerves and emotions, she made us feel extremely calm, comfortable and confident on the day of the wedding. In terms of the day itself, Rebekka and Taryn orchestrated everything perfectly. From the big moments to the smallest details (like bringing us sips of water between pictures, to making sure my veil and train were perfectly fluffed, making sure no family members had anything stuck in their teeth)... they thought of EVERYTHING. On top of their amazing team, the venue itself is gorgeous and our guests are still complimenting the food (3 months later). Our day was PERFECT and we can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else. Thank you so much <3 !!

It’s hard to know where to begin in describing just how fantastic our experience was with St. Mary’s Golf and Country Club. After booking in 2019 for a 2020 wedding and having to postpone twice due to the pandemic, we finally got our dream wedding on September 16th 2022. Throughout the entire planning process, Taryn kept us organized and updated, remained professional but treated us like family. I truly cannot say enough good things about her!! She was even able to stick around on our wedding day which meant the world to us. We also had the absolute pleasure of getting Kristen as our maître D and when I tell you that girl knows what she’s doing, I mean it! She radiates happiness & positivity, she treated me like a best friend the entire day & helped to keep my nerves at bay.The second I stepped into the venue on the day of, my expectations were blown away. It was everything I had dreamt of and more. I cannot tell you how amazing it was to sit back and enjoy every moment because the SMGCC staff takes care of absolutely everything for you. From the beauty of the venue, to the food and drinks, to the staff, everything was just perfect. If I could give more then 5 stars I 100% would. Thank you SMGCC for making our dreams come true. We will forever recommend this venue!
