We found Calabash on our first day of our trip to Canada. Ron, the owner of this 22 year old little restaurant, is a very warm and charming host. During my visit I could tell that a lot of the guests have visited Ron's place a long time.We had 2 dishes; Caribbean jerk chicken and oxtail. Both were served with rice stuffed with lentils and carrots. The chicken was super tender and coated in jerk seasoning. The oxtail came in a thick savory sauce. Both were delicious and the serving size were a bit big for my partner and me, so Ron packed the leftovers for us.Should we ever return to Mississauga, I'd like to visit Calabash again. See you Ron!

Cozy place with amazing food. The owner is always very welcoming and truly appreciates his customers. I've tried doubles, goat roti, oxtail and jerk chicken. Everything was top notch. Their jerk chicken is a must have each time.

I wish I could give this place better ratings but I can't. Got the jerk chicken and found it a bit dry and salty. The portion size was surprisingly small for the price I paid (it was $19) and it didn't come with any coleslaw which is new as most places I go to normally gives it as a side especially for how much it was.I've had better jerk chicken so not sure if I'd even come back to give their other dishes a try.

Best Roti in town and has been for years. Lots of parking and seating if you choose to dine in. Order at cash and sit down. They will bring you your order or if you prefer take out, they'll bag it.Always friendly island atmosphere!! Reasonable pricing. Hot Curried Goat is my Fave!!

If you are from the Caribbean, this is not the place for you. The food is nothing close to what we eat. However some years ago I spoke to the owner, they said they change th taste of the food to cater to what was then their main clientele. I am sure they could make it taste like normal but they won't.

Ended up stopping here unintentionally and got the jerk chicken with rice. As someone who typically finds restaurant food in Canada unseasoned and very much lacking in flavour, I was very pleasantly surprised with how good it looked, smelled, and most importantly, tasted. The chicken was tender and juicy … absolutely BUSSIN. The lady who who worked there (not sure if she’s the owner) was also very friendly, a very positive experience overall and I’ll definitely be back soon :)

Ordered chicken roti, chicken and rice, goat roti, regular doubles and chicken doubles. We (two adults and two young kids) really enjoyed the food especially the doubles. The meat across the dishes was tender and tasty. Owner is wonderful, very likable and friendly. I look forward to returning again soon.

My first time going to this place. I will return for sure very soon and many times! The jerk chicken and curry chicken were both very tasty! I like that the curry chicken is boneless.I’m looking forward to try all of the other yummy looking things on their menu!

Food was gross. Horrible taste. Wrong order. Ordered curry goat with plain white rice. Owner sent rice and peas and said the meat was curry. It looks like brown stew beef. Curry looks brown to us, very salty. Owner was rude and disrespectful. Will never support this place again. Also said she tried to call me when I know she did not dial MY number at all. Horrible customer service.
