Bustan Urban Gardening Essentials

Bustan is the best gardening store in the GTA. They have a great selection of seed starting equipment, all the organic fertilizers and soils you need, and quality indoor grow equipment. The advice I received when selecting the right products was phenomenal. Now that I discovered Bustan, this is my preferred destination for gardening supplies.

Good place for your indoor gardening needs. They have soil, plastic trays, propagation material......and horticultural pumice. Highly recommended!

Came in today for some clay. I have been going to this retailer for a while now. The staff is knowledgable, the products they carry are relevant and quality.Gardening is a knowledge based endeavor, and Bustan Urban Gardening is a knowledge based business. I have been buying off of Bustan.ca for over 10 years now, and I love these guys. They have a great selection of grow lights and more. I have been purchasing and using their T5HO fixtures & bulbs for over a decade and have now recently upgraded to the T5HO LED bulbs they offer. They are located inside a storage building so it is a little confusing to get to the unit. The sales lady who tended to me was very helpful and friendly. They seem to have a limited variety of products (limited multiple brand names of same product) but the selection they have are quality. The sales lady was very patient and knowledgeable when I asked her questions after questions.. Very satisfied experience with them and will most likely visit again

Don't waste your time dealing with these people. They don't return phone calls and they just give excuses for why they can't get the job done. Here's the rub reached out to these guys last week and was told that the person who deals with shipping is not in and so they cannot help me. I left my name and number for them to call me. Next day no call back again and leave a VM. Next day no call so I send an email to the website. No call. I call again today and finally get a person and then they tell me all the reasons they can't ship their product. Then I explain that I'm sending an empty 53' trailer and all I need them to do is toss 7-4' x 8' hydro trays in the back. The response...I wish you'd called 2 days ago we're sold out". We also spoke about 4' x 4' hydro trays and so I ask her about those. She then explains that they're sold out of those as well and that they really are not focusing on indoor products right now. So all I get is excuses for why they cannot return emails

If you're looking for niche gardening products (indoor and outdoor), this is the place for you. Get everything you need to make your own super soil, including work castings, oyster shells, crab meal, blood meal, kelp meal and much more. They also stock a large variety of plastic and fabric plant pots.The best part..... They are significantly cheaper than buying the same products on amazon. Check them out, you won't regret it. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help.One thing to note before you visit. It looks like a warehouse. Enter through door D. It's further down the parking lot.Once you get in the building, walk down the hallway and it will be directly in front of you. There's a sign on the door :)Happy gardening!!

Long time customer of over 10 years and each year felt less & less appreciated. Ordered 4 LED Agro bulbs and they sent me bulbs from a different manufacture of less quality & cost; and told me to be happy. Not happy and considering looking for a new seller now :-( When I purchase something I expect to get what I paid for not something different then just told I should be happy. No applogy from seller...
