Hair Fellas Barbershop

I’ve tried a lot of barber shops around the Ottawa/Gatineau area and the barbers at Hairfellas are honestly the best I could find. You can’t go wrong no matter which of their professional barbers cuts your hair. Also the atmosphere is chill and playful. I drive 30min every time I’m in need of a cut and never regretted it. All in all the best barber shop!

I have been coming to this location for 4 years and have never been disappointed by any barber. I regularly refer my family and friends here and will continue to do so in the future. Shout out out Levantino the Barber! Best barber in the city!

Not only do I always get a good cut when I come to hair fellas but I always have a great conversation with Carlos. Carlos has created a great environment to come get fresh and have a good time. I’m always satisfied when I leave hair fellas!

I have been to this barbershop a few times now and it is always a great experience. Great vibes everyone there is super chill and friendly and really funny. My barber Levantino who has cut my hair 3 times now always blessed me with a great haircut. Highly Recommend!

Carlos has been cutting my hair for 15 years and I’ve been taking my son now for the last couple of years! I’m always happy with the haircut and beard trims. Definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting good, consistent haircuts and a chill atmosphere!

Great Shop has fantastic vibes and the staff is awesome. Highly recommend hair fellas if your looking for a fresh cut. Good location with available parking as well so that’s always a plus. I had Laventino and he’s hooked me up on multiple occasions definitely a go too.

The best barbershop in the city - an exceptional experience from the moment you walk in the door. Great prices, amazing service and friendly people. I've been going there for years and would not get my hair cut anywhere else!

TLDR: 2 out of 5 as ZAHRA cares more about laughing when Levantino complains about his wife or when Carlos whines about his family instead of listening to how you actually want your hair cut. CANNOT recommend.I went in April 2023 after making an appointment with ZAHRA. I explained what I'd like on the sides and how I wanted it to blend into the top. So she then just does a super close fade, not at all what I asked for. Zahra spent sooooo much time shaving and trying to perfect the fade instead of actually doing what I asked for. And she won't ask you how she's doing or what you think. She either ignored my request or didn't really listen and didn't care enough to clarify. This was the second time she's done that as I decided to give her a second chance. My mistake.Zahra and the other barbers just chatted each other up about their upcoming weekend or fasting plans. They seem like good friends and have fun chirping each other and joking around, which is cool and all - IF you listened to what the customer wants and nail the haircut. Otherwise, it just seems like you care more about your buds and laughing at Levantino complain about his nagging wife or Carlos about his annoying family. It feels like the customer comes second to their bland conversation and the typical boys club jokes.So, you're looking at $35 before tip for a haircut you may or may not have asked for. I don't know if it's just Zahra who doesn't really listen as I haven't used anyone else. But I ain't going back to find out.If you want a fade you didn't ask for all while having to listen to the bros" whine about women or chirp each other then Hairfellas is your place!Overall 2 out 5 and based on my experience.Wellington Hairfellas is mediocre at best."

I've taken my boys to this place a few times before with both good and bad experiences. We thought to give it one more chance, and my son finally got the worst hair cut he has ever had.A simple hair cut took one hour and twenty minutes (yes, 80 minutes). The hairstylist had to stop and ask two different co-workers for advice, and yet the result was so horrendously wrong that my son had to rush home looking for his cap, and he is going to school wearing a toque to cover the crooked cut.Absolutely not going back there again, and not recommending it.

They is complete a**, they messed me up heavily and didn't listen to my advice. They should be banned and uncertified from cutting hair, easily the worst haircut i've got in years. DO NOT RECOMMEND. They are awful and need new barbers I can't even bother thinking they are allowed to cut hair. If you think about getting a haircut do not go here.
