I've worked in the flooring industry for over 25 years, have read some of the reviews. I find it interesting Beaulieu Canada (the manufacturer/distributor) is being blamed for some of these complaints.The RETAILER seems to have failed in a couple ways, and MAYBE the consumer has to take some of the blame.The flooring that had LITERALLY fallen apart from the office chair rolling on it ISN'T a manufacturing defect. The retailer could have advised NOT to use a rolling chair (especially without a protective hard plastic chair matt under it) BUT, if the consumer didn't ask the question....THAT'S on the consumer. Not a floor manufacturers problem.The different coloured carpet. Dye lots do happen, BUT, it seems like to me that they ordered the wrong colour for you, and are trying to hide it by saying it's a different dye lot. BS. If it's THAT different, they ordered the wrong colour. The best way to determine that is to take the sample board of ALL the colours to determine if it could have been one of the other colours on the board.Sometimes the manufacturers are instructed not to say anything to the consumer, just in case the retailer made a mistake. If the manufacturer takes the opinion to side with the consumer, the retailer may not sell their product any more, so the rep keeps their mouth SHUT. Too bad, but true.As far as the gaping goes. Hard to say, but it is more likely an installation fail, more than a manufacturing issue. Easy to blame the poor installer. SORRY, but probably was. :(

I had the Matisse #2213 Luxury Vinyl installed professionally Oct/Nov. 2020.It's new in Canada infact the local stores didn't even know about it.The Sales Reps had sent several pictures to the Supplier (Beaulieu Canada?) in December of where the floor is lifting in places, it's now April & not a word back.I'm also pretty sure that it wasn't the way the Professional Installer installed it!I don't understand why the sides of the tiles weren't coloured the same as the floor as the lines look dirty to me.Originally I was really thrilled with the flooring but maybe I should've waited until there were some reviews?They ran out of planks & once they arrived they weren't installed as I wasn't at all happy with it. Trouble is that I want it removed but I'd spent hours & hours searching thousands of flooring & am very worried that I'll never find a similar floor!I'm only showing pictures of 3 areas where it's lifted there are many more!I've been extremely patient but now I'm just upset & angry. Definitely don't recommend this particular flooring!I've just been informed (May 4/21) that 6 other clients are having the same problems with this particular flooring!! Thinking that I should remove the 1 Star??

Please do not install Beaulieu CanadaOceania/2192 Cobia Luxury vinyl flooring. It looks great but scratch really bad. My floors have been in about 2 years and it’s a mess. My chairs are even padded on the bottom. You can’t slide anything on it and if you have pets forget it.!!!!! Paid over $4000. Big waste of money when I will need new ones a 2 more years.

We purchased one of your highest thread carpets for our bedroom in 2019 and are pleased to say it still looks like new.The pile is standing up to normal wear beyond our expectations.To top it off, we were able to buy it from a Canadian company!Thank you Beaulieu

I have had an upsetting experience with Beaulieu. I bought their laminate flooring through special order at Home Depot. I am saddened and disappointed that this Canadian company refused to stand by its product. I bought my first home last year, a condo, and bought Beaulieu Laminate flooring to replace the old carpet that was from the previous owner. Not even two months later I developed nearly 1 inch gaps due to shrinkage as well as breakage of the laminate grooves that are supposed to hold the pieces together. I contacted Home Depot and Beaulieu about the issue. Home Depot did not acknowledge any defect with the product. And Beaulieu refused to even look at it. I have had several independent contractors assess the flooring and no one has seen such large gaps appear, even with real hardwood. There is clearly an issue with this particular laminate product and Beaulieu has not even offered any explanation as to how and why it is falling apart. I have sent photos to Home Depot, whom also issued a report to Beaulieu denying any defect in the wood. Has anyone else experienced any problem with their wood products? Has. Beaulieu been of any assistance? This experience has been such a nightmare for me. It's been costly, having so many people come in to assess the damage, not to mention the initial purchase and installation of the floor. And now, I am probably going to have to replace the entire thing. I am happy and proud to be in my new home but the disaster with my floor just continues to haunt me. It's an eye sore and a huge headache and it is disheartening to be ignored by Beaulieu.

Recently purchased carpet for our basement (Jan 2019), we ordered a larger sample size to ensure it was the colour we wanted. When the carpet was installed the colour was totally different then the sample colour (sent by Beaulio) Photo attached of difference of sample and carpet installed. I understand dye can be slightly off but these are 2 different colours ( 1 from the brown family and 1 from the grey family) The sales rep was out to look at the job and essentially said they are a close enough match. Now we are left with a carpet that we dislike and spent good money on! I will never purchase anything from Beaulieu/Peerless again, I didn't order a larger sample to still end up with a carpet colour I dislike. No customer service and don't stand by their products.

Terrible product and the company does not stand by their warranty. The report" they gave us on testing the flooring that we are having an issue with is a joke."
