The Curry House
Very impressed with my first two meals from here. Everything was awesome and the takeout was still hot and cooked perfectly when we got home. I definitely will be returning to try more items from the menu and I absolutely will be recommending eating here to others! Great new addition to the area!

I ordered paneer tikka masala , dahi poori , daal makhni and naan but the worst part is only taste of dal makhni was good rest of items are totally worthless in dahi poori I think they forget to add dahi and paneer tikka masala They don’t cook it properly sorry please focus on quality

Food was pretty good. I had chana masala and my husband had butter chicken. Resturant was clean and service was good and friendly. A little music playing would have added to the atmosphere. Would stop in again.

Amazing food and even better service! We ordered catering from The Curry House for a poker night and the portions and quality were outstanding. Worth every penny. They were so easy to communicate with and checked in numerous times to make sure it all worked out perfectly for us. We drove from Fenelon Falls- and it was well worth the drive. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything!

Decided to give the new restaurant a try and we were not disappointed. Order way more food then we could eat but had to sample a few items. The Smashed Samosa Chana Chaat was to die for! The Naan was great to dip into the sauce of the Angus Beef Curry which was spicy but not horribly spicy. The amount of beef which was so tender was wonderful. We also ordered the Kadai Chicken and Chicken Biryani. Both presented so nicely and had such lovely flavour. Nothing was greasy and the portions were fantastic. All was well worth the wait and cost. We look forward to trying some other dishes on our next visit and we will enjoy the leftovers that we were able to bring home. Thank you so much and it is so nice to get some ethnic food close to home.

I have eaten 90% of the dishes on the menu here. Never a disappointment. Tonight was the Dahi Poori appetizer. The main is the Chennai Chicken with some Mango pickle on the side. So glad we have this in Bancroft!

This was some of the best if not THE best Indian food I've ever had. No hyperbole. I mean it. Crazy that it's right outside Bancroft!Clearly made with love, none of it was greasy, portion sizes were generous and the cuts of meat used were good (you know how sometimes you get goat and it's nothing but bone? Not the case here). You can tell the difference in quality coming from this family owned restaurant to Indian food even in big city establishments.Spicy without being hot (unless you want it like that) we tried many different dishes on the menu. Between my father, my wife and myself we couldn't get enough of the flavours. From mango shrimp to garlic nan! The goat curry is phenomenal.Just wow. Absolutely blown away. They'll even give you red and green chili's to throw into your food if you want it even spicier. I live two hours away but I've been thinking about the meal we had for the past few days.This sounds like a weird compliment, but again, speaking to the extremely high quality of the food and how delicious it was, I rode my motorcycle back home for two hours and not once the whole night did I get a telltale gurgling in the belly.Really! Do yourself the favour and go eat here! It's worth it!

Stopped in for lunch. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Had lunch special and some samosas. Everything was very good. Service was great. Bathrooms were clean. Will repeat.

Absolutely great food! Every dish I've tried has been fantastic, flavorful, and obviously homemade with love. 11/10 Dishes every time. The Chicken Korma and Garlic Naan can't be beat!

The first time we went there the food was extremely good.The last time (Wednesday Feb 15) it was barely edible! Not sure why the quality went down so much. The chicken tasted like it was processed and there was very little spice in the Vindaloo. Very disappointing as we are Indian food lovers and thought we had found a local gem.
