Admission was way too expensive. I'm not going to pay $590 per person for a 1 day pass. That's insane.

Interesting history behind this gaol. Built in 1884. I had a brief stay in 1980. Very old and antiquated. But enjoyed the nostalgia.

Vaughan Street Jail
Though not every part of the jail is open due to COVID we really enjoyed the place, with several volunteers explaining the story of the place. I would have loved to see all the place as the common parts are not showing much of the original building, but the cells on the basement are impressive
