Our master bedroom shower had leaking problem since we moved in to our brand new house years ago. We found water marks on our breakfast area. There were a few cracks (about 2-4mm) I called them and hope they will take a detail look and rebuild part of the shower but they checked and just reseal the vertical cracks only. I trusted them as they are friendly and should know much more than me.... But it lasted for 3 years and I have been resealing it just like what they did until finally I believe there was something wrong the builder did. I hired a contract to take off the shower and found the contractor who originally built this had cut the corners of the water resistant mat instead of folding it. It is a water resistant mat, why would you cut the corners to fold them? On the bright side, I'm lucky that we stopped using the Master bathroom and waited patiently (during the pandemic) for the contractor to come and fix it, hope everything will be fine next week. I'm extremely upset as you can imagine the problem we had and money we just paid to fixed their mistakes. I'm saving money now for the 2nd shower, I pray that this one was done by another experience contractor. I will see if I can attach pictures of the inside of the foundation of the shower. The wood were all shattered. You will understand what I mean. Good luck everyone! Hope this is just a special case but I lost my trust on them as I thought they only hire professional contractors.
