Purchased a road bike here. The staff, Uriel and another person, were helpful and set up my bike quickly. They explained my bike to me and didn't pressure me into buying stuff I didn't want. Bike came with two free tune ups, and a discount on gear. Prices were the same as other shops in the city but had bikes in stock that no other store had, especially in a medium size. For future improvement: the website needs some work.

My very first review on Google Review with very bad experience.Today I went to this shop with a expensive road bike (~10K road bike) that needs tire replacement. The female salesman was doing the reception and telling me the price of the labour ($25 per tire, expensive but still acceptable). And the female salesman started actually working on my bike but apparently she knows nothing about fixing a bike. She tried to take off the front tire without releasing the brake release. And I told her that she needs to release the break before taking off the front tire.AND SHE DID IT WITHOUT HOLDING THE WHEEL AND THE WHEEL DIRECTLY FALLED FROM THE BIKE AND HIT THE GROUND AND BOUNCING. AND SHE THOUGHT IT WAS OK AND KIND OF FUNNY??? Apparently this lady did not know the price and fragility of this wheel set (~2000 CAD Full Carbon Wheels)...I was shocked by her behaviour. And she continued to try replacing the tire; HOWEVER, SHE DID NOT EVEN KNOW HOW AND JUST TRIED AROUND AND TESTED FIXING WITH MY WHEELS.In the end she gave up and asked the main mechanic in the shop to replace the tires. The only point that I am leaving 2 stars is because their main mechanic is more knowledgeable and did not mind checking the condition of the wheels for me.Really hope that someone will follow up my case; otherwise, super not recommended if you have an expensive bike that needs repairs especially when there is someone who tries to fix" your bike with super unresponsible and unprofessional attitude and skillset."

Very nice staff who are friendly and helpful. I went in for a bike repair. They are very detailed in explaining what I need to get done and the pricing is very transparent. They explained to me what I need to do for safety reasons. Also, they told me what I need to get done in a few months. So I stay within the budget I gave them for repair. Will definitely come back again.

I have an ebike where the motor was making a noise which is never does, I called in and they said yes they can work on ebikes, I then went in to book an appointment to confirm especially since the brand I have is out of business and wanted to confirm they could work on my brand, and where I bought my bike is hard to get to with Covid operating times reduced.* So with them saying Yes we can, I brought the bike in. Other than the read wheel motor which is the MAIN reason I brought the bike in WHICH WAS NOT EVEN LOOKED AT!!!, I asked for:- To check my rear brake which is hydraulic and was was soft & spongy, they suggested to bleed the line...well no difference, as well the brake lever was not aligned when I picked it up and hydraulic oil all over the grip and brake lever...easy 5 minute adjustment and cleaned with alcohol, this was $75 with new pads and brake bleed, I could accept this IF there was an improvement and I did not have to adjust and clean.- As well there was a little magnet on the front brake where adhesive wore off the holder for the cable/magnet holder as I had to remove it as it controls the battery regeneration. So I asked to have this realigned which now I realize I could have done in a few minutes with some double sided tape instead of this zap strap and glue job they did. This was $35!- Then they charged me $80 for a basic tune up...for what as there was nothing needed, I said you let me know if it does, so I would like to know what was done as Caps, JV Bikes and Westwood where I have done business for years would may charge $40 for a shifter and brake adjustment IF it was needed, I knew there was nothing as shifting was perfect when I brought it in, chain was checked when I was there and all good...so what was done?, this was my integrity check if I could trust this potential new shop.So for $200, I still now have to take my bike in to JV Bikes or OHM for the motor to be looked at, the bike has all this ugly glue on the shifter, no difference on feeling as a tune up was not required, and the brakes feel the same and not safe as I can pretty much fully squeeze to the handle almost still...not a great experience.Update: Over a week later knowing I wasn't happy when I left the store, all I got was a sorry...no follow up call.I took the bike to JV Bikes where I bought the bike, and without even looking at it with what I described, the tech knew right away and said the motor is no good anymore. As well I paid More for Bikes as noted above for a tune up, the real cassette the JV Bikes tech noticed by a simple wiggle that is was really loose, to a safety concern point of view...so again what did I pay $80 for...and they noticed the horrible work with the glue and brake lines...not impressed at all.

I’ve been bringing my bikes to More Bikes ever since I moved to the neighborhood. The bike mechanics Alan, Uriel and Diego create a welcoming and joyful atmosphere through their love and passion for biking and always do a great job. They also have a genuine interest to discuss, give advice and answer any questions—something that is rare in bike shops from my experience (many are condescending, especially towards women).I recommend this shop to anyone and look forward to popping by for my next bike service and good, friendly bike chat.See y’all again soon (but not too soon haha) and thank you!

Bikes are poorly maintained, had a flat within an hour from a leak, and gears had issues changing. I got a 5$ credit when in reality I should dispute the entire charge... My as is still sore from the seat as well from only a hour ride days later.

disc brake rub and 6 days until a big fondo - where're you going to go? Uriel emailed me right back and had me bring it in the next day, spent an hour working on the bike (also servicing the bottom bracket), educating me on the process while I watched - a real privilege - while Lucy kept the other store business going. Given how hard it is to get service appointments anywhere, this was hugely appreciated - and solid quality work too.

Uriel and previously Guillermo are matters of the craft, super pleasant, and offer creative ideas to get the fix you need at the price you can afford. No BS, all heart. Is a well equipped shop with several price tiers for most items from lights to pumps to helmets. They are also great about offering services like tube changes on the spot- Uriel did this today when I walked in.My only wish would be for earlier or later hours on some weekdays because for working stiffs who commute off campus, getting into the shop between and 6 pm can be challenging. Thanks to all the staff for your hard work!

I had a sticky screw on my bike seat and asked the very helpful worker at the Wesbrook Village location for help. He immediately got the screw off and moved the bike seat to the spot I wanted it. He was very kind and this little change to my bike made a big difference to me.
