Had a bad experience today whit the lady at the counter, I ask her very politely to check if they have in stock a pair of Hyper Dri 3 Hiking Boots, but she don't even say hello she just said. No, I can not help you ¡ She doesn't even look me in the eyes or offer me an alternative, I step out and bought it in another place.

I really like this store! I bought winter boots from here and they’re great quality; they were very needed and helpful for the cold -30 winter here in Calgary. The only thing that prevents me from giving Mark’s a 5 star rating is their pricing. They do have great quality clothing, outerwear, shoe attire, and more; however, they are extremely expensive and it’s not affordable for the average person to consistently shop at.

If I could give -10 I would.I purchased a pair of pants for my son knowing that they may need to be returned as I wasn’t completely sure on the sizing or style. I explained to the cashier that this was the case and asked if that would be ok. She told me that if I had to return them that the money would be returned to my card immediately.Well - I in fact had to return them. They only gave me back $47.00 of the $70.00 that I spent stating that it was a buy one get one deal, even though I only bought one pair. The cashier who I had talked to upon purchasing was incredibly rude and raised her voice at me, while saying “I would never say that”! EXCEPT SHE DID!Then, they did not take my card to return my money, but said it was returned anyways.Well, fast forward, the money has not been returned to my card, and the associate and manager are both being completely unhelpful and incredibly rude.NEVER BUY THERE!

Good product selection and prices. The staff is helpful and friendly mostly, except today the cashier stuffed all my purchase (shoes and clothes) into a small bag, which could have damaged my purchase.

People here are so rude. We asked one old guy who works here for the sizes and he said they only have 6 to 10. And we saw 7 to 11. If I can give them negative, I will.

Bought a WindRiber boots with IceFX, for my budget they are not cheap. I had good experience with Mark's before so I trusted them, what a mistake.Bought the boots walk in it for 6 kms, I slipped 3-4 times. Try to return them within the time frame, but their policy is if you used your boots/shoes you can't return it. What a concept that contradicts itself for a non-slip winter boots. How would a person would know if a pair of boots you bought would be any good if you don't use it? Just based on trust? Not anymore.False advertising!

Went in looking to purchase boots. Lots of staff around, no one offered to help which is actually fine, I prefer to ask. I chose a $200 pair of boots and went to the cashier, which had one person working and one person paying. After about 5 minutes of waiting I put the boots back and went two doors down to the Shoe Company, where I bought a discounted pair of Columbia boots I liked just as much for considerably less. When people want to pay and leave the store, don't delay this process!
