I've been bringing my boys to HOF now for probably over a year. We go to the shop located in New Westminster, we drive a solid half hour to 45 minutes even though there are other shops much closer to us.They're awesome people! John is the beard wizard. My beard is very sparse, with bald spots, and somehow after years of looking like I got in to a fight with a hedge trimmer, John was able to make my beard look way better! Surprised my wife, who's always known me to have a wack unkempt beard, took 10 year off of my face!Ali is the one who does mine and my boys fades, and he always kills it! Very detail oriented, hard working. My kids won't let anyone else do their fades, it's Ali or no one lol

John is an absolute wizard. He’s attentive to every micro detail, always wants his customers to be leaving happy. He is the epitome of the perfect barber everyone desires. A+

So, I'm not the typical client this type of business caters to. I actually ended up here accidentally. I'm not a fade kinda guy. My aesthetic is more alt/goth. I had an existing undercut with long hair that I usually keep in a bun and I was just popping to have the undercut trimmed up.I was asked if I had an appointment and I said I was just walking in and they happily accepted me as Ali's next appointment wasn't for a bit.He asked me how I wanted my fade and it dawned on me that I was not the typical client. I prefer a hard line and he didn't have any problem with that. Ali did his best to fix the terrible undercut that was presented to him and he straightened some very crooked lines but the placement was not great anymore.I could tell he was very talented and doing his best to fix a situation that wasn't going to work so I asked him to cut new lines and use his best discretion to follow my hairline and cowlicks to create a whole new hairstyle for me.I ended up cutting off a lot more hair than I intended to at the time but I haven't been as happy with a haircut in a long time. I will be coming back to Ali for every cut from now on. I will even make an appointment next time so I don't eat into that other dude's time!Thanks again, Ali.

I stumbled on this place a few months ago as I was looking for a local barber and I’m so happy I did. John is ridiculously good at his profession, I come out of every appointment very satisfied. His attention to detail, professionalism and friendliness are all standouts. Won’t be going anywhere else. Thanks John!

I get my haircut here monthly and it never disappoints. Eric has been a barber here for a number of years and knows exactly what he’s doing. Would highly recommend signing up for their membership program for a better haircut deal!

100% agree with all the reviews here. John is an excellent barber and was able to get my style on his first try. He is very professional, skilled and doesn't hurry so the haircut is really polished. I like that he asks that it is okay to say that the hair needs more trimming. I will definitely go back and I highly recommend him specially to my kababayans. :)
