Capital Chordettes Chorus
As an empty nester, I was looking for a new activity and I like to sing, so The Chordettes seemed like a good group to check out. Well that was two years ago and membership has changed my life! Now I have 30 new friends, I have a new focus and something to do everyday (practice!). We travel, we do social things together, we support other chorus groups in the city, and we SING! So much fun!

Becoming a member of the Capital Chordettes is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. I have made many friends, learned an incredible amount about singing and vocal production and had a whole lot of fun. Not bad for a gal who, until I joined, had never sung in public before!

Capital Chordettes Chorus
I had sung in a few other groups before joining the Chordettes, but was always frustrated by the lack of meticulousness and precision. I just wanted to sing as perfectly as possible. Four part harmony is all about precision and vocal excellence. My range has expanded and my voice has improved greatly in the seven years I’ve been in this group.
