H&R Block

SCAM WARNING Don't go to the H&R block by Purdy's. I am tax exempt and filed on my wife's taxes. Not only did they charge my wife to have me on the taxes but then charged me 44.99 for nothing I had no t4 and they did not do anything!!! for me except write my name down. When I questioned them they had no answer 2 workers could not explain to me how they can charge me without doing anything for me. The guy who I think was the person in charge told me well you have to file taxes even if you are tax exempt so this is our filling fee I said no it says right here on your receipt it's 5.99 to file. He was not very bright and kept going in circles with no answers. I called another H&R block who told me I was sadly misinformed and I should never have had to pay except for e filing which was 5.99. SCAM WARNING

I phoned this location for some guidance regarding filing a schedule 11 form, and the woman who happened to answer the phone was the rudest person I've ever had the misfortune of speaking with.Due to the abnormal frequency of exasperated sighs and the constant shrill tone of condescension, I was pushed to hang up on this individual.I will never again contact this location, in the unlucky chance that this miserable individual chooses to answer the phone, and I'm patronized again.Thank you.
