Magoon Point Cemetery

This place is quite a surreal place.I first read about the Magoon Family Cemetery while researching Early Lime Kilns of the Eastern Townships.This Cemetery is unmarked and has no caretaker and has been left to ruin for over 100 years.You will notice many broken head stones. Some are legible and some are too far gone.If you take a closer look you will see some graves have just a stone marker sticking out of the ground.I believe these markers could be of some of the workers employed at the Magoon's family Lime Kiln or just simply those with less money.This is Private Property.Permission is required.
