Rachel took excellent care of my cat, Mila, while we were away on vacation recently. I was a bit nervous, because I had never hired a professional catsitter before, but I was really impressed with Rachel's wealth of knowledge, her attention to detail, and her professionalism throughout the process. She often went over and above what we had discussed to ensure that Mila was taken care of, and also sent me the most amazing pictures throughout the trip. I would definitely recommend hiring her!

Rachel is amazing! She cared for my 22-year-old cat as if it were her own. Knowledgeable and professional, she kept me updated on my cat's condition while I was away. I recommend her highly and will not hesitate to call her next time.

Rachel took care of my cat for the Canada Day long weekend and I could not be more happy with her services. It was the first time leaving my rescue alone in the 3 years we’ve had him so I was very nervous but Rachel made sure I was comfortable during the whole process. She answered all my questions, sent very detailed updates with pictures AND videos while I was away, which warmed my heart. And to top it all off, my cat absolutely loved Rachel (I definitely thought he would hide from the stranger in his house) but to my surprise he greeted her, let her give him brushes and rubs. I will definitely be using Rachel the next time I go away and would recommend her to all my friends and family.

Rachel took care of our 2 guineas pigs for the month and did an amazing job. She is very professional, and was responsive to all of our concerns (as one of the guinea pigs is a senior). She sent us updates everyday with photos and videos. She also prepared beautiful arrangements of fresh vegetables twice a day, which the guinea pigs loved! I will definitely recommend her services to anyone looking for a pet sitter :)

Rachel was extremely attentive to my needs as well as my cat's. She was professional and warm and kind throughout the entire process! I was nervous about leaving my cat and home in the care of another person, but Rachel immediately made me feel at ease. She texted me photos of my cat (who was very happy, by the way!) while sitting, and even took the time to follow-up once I returned home. Rachel did a superb job. I went on a weekend vacation and Rachel took care of my cat during this period. She followed all instructions perfectly, gave feedback on every visit and left everything organized. Luna and Rachel became friends very fast! This was the first time I used this type of service and would definitely use it again and highly recommend her services for your pets.

Rachel recently took care of our two cats while we were away and we couldn't be happier with her services! Our cats absolutely loved her! Even our more skittish cat played and let Rachel give her belly rubs. Our younger cat seemed to have a great time playing and was not stressed when we returned home. He acted like he didn't even notice we had left! She has a natural gift for deciphering cats' needs and was very attentive to them.Rachel was extremely professional and made sure that everything was explained and covered. Costs were upfront and clear. She also made sure that we were comfortable knowing that our cats were in good hands.It was wonderful to be able to relax knowing that the cats were in capable hands. Cats and Hamsters provided a professional and incredibly reassuring experience for something that is always a little stressful (leaving your pets alone!)Rachel was kind, professional, and very thorough; she made sure she knew our cats' routine in and out before our appointment. She was always available for questions, and is full of great advice for any situation that may arise while you are away. She sent daily detailed updates (with photos!), and is great with all pet personalities; she even got our very shy cat to come out of hiding for her. I never worried about our cats while they were in her care. If you are even remotely considering an in-home pet sitting service, Cats and Hamsters is worth it for the peace of mind!

Rachel did an amazing job looking after my cat while I was away. I was gone for about 5 days and she sent me pictures every time she visited and gave me updates as well. She even cleaned up after my cat ripped up a toilet paper roll. I'd recommend her to anyone that wants peace of mind while they're away from their pet!
