Poochies

Friendly staff and a great facility. Our dog loves it too.

My Portuguese water dog goes to Poochies a couple of times a week and loves it. Yesterday she had a grooming session with Tara, the groomer. Tara did an excellent job, and the dog and I are both very happy. I wanted the dog to have a half inch coat left, and that is exactly what was done. Plus the rest of her was totally cleaned up and her eyes are back in view again. Great job!

Best place ever! They are so kind, professional and accommodating! My two dogs always come home happy as can be. I've been to other daycares before where I had no idea how my dog was being treated - but at Poochies before boarding for the first time they actually show you around their beautiful, CLEAN, comfortable facility. When I pick up the boys I can genuinely tell the staff care about the dogs and they're not just another number to them. I intend to be a customer here for a long time to come, nothing but thrilled about the service :) Photo attached... the doggos after a fun play day at Poochies.. play hard sleep hard!

The dogs are amazingly taken care off. The facilities and staff are unbeatable. Make sure you take a tour it's fantastic to see what your puppies get to do all day.

Fred, my 8 year golden retriever has been going to Poochies Doggie Daycare twice a week for three years. He loves it! Every person who works there is totally enthusiastic about playing with the dogs and having a positive vibe. The owners are highly professional and maintain high levels of sanitation and care. I totally recommend Poochies and so does Fred! Woof!

Although I never got my dog in to their kennel I greatly appreciated the timely response and professionalism, compassion and experience that was given to me during my phone conversation. Should the time arise, I will gladly bring my little fur buddy there for any of the offered services.

have been to a few different trainer with a few different dogs, Poochies is excellent, very patient, and works with you individually if you are struggling in the class with any particular tasks. I will use them always with any new additions to the family and return for some fun brush up courses with the vetran dogs. try the tricks course, its a blast!

Disappointing. My dog got kennel cough thanks to them.I booked 2 months in advance for 10 boarding days. The morning I drop him off, they told me that they have few cases of kennel cough (so my dog may get it), but it's ok... What joke is that? So they did choose to tell me this now (and not before) so I had no choice than to leave him.Indeed, the probability to get sick is not the same in nature and in a closed area in contact with lots of dogs with some sick ones...The common sense would have been to inform me about the situation prior to the boarding date! like they do at schools for example (parents get a note as soon as there is a disease around) - at least in my country!As I was leaving the country 15 days later (with a health certificate to get for my dog to get the plan) and limited money (BC vet cost is very expensive), I would have not taken the risk.But they did not care, there was no common sense. Just overrated words about the fact that they clean and took well care of my dog... not an apologize to not have warn me that there was a very high risk of sickness. No, cause they just want your money, not their problem they got sick.Results: vet cost, dog sick, huge stress until we leave...If you don't care your dog get sick, it's great, dogs have lots of space and can play well.

My pup LOVES going to Poochies! She’s always exhausted at pick up. The convenience of having an on site groomer is also fantastic. I really enjoy being able to get her nails trimmed or booking her for a bath so it’s a more enjoyable experience for her rather than flailing around trying to bathe her at home.
