Tilted Veil

Had one of my first dress shopping appointments at the tilted veil. The stylist looked like she was angry or annoyed that we were there. She literally did not speak to me while I was in the room and opened the door every time I tried on a new dress very abruptly. She made the experience very uncomfortable. Just my feedback. Trust me and go across the street to the Modern Bride! It was night and day from this place.

I ended up buying my dress from Tilted Veil and I can’t say thank you enough to Heather. The appointment felt really personal, as we were the only people in the shop. Heather was very helpful and encouraging and I ended up finding my dream dress off the rack and was able to take it home that day. She allowed me time to have a special moment with my group and really made the experience memorable. She was also super respectful of my budget and never tried to push a sale of any of the ones I tried on. Cannot wait to wear it :)

Tilted Veil was my first shop I went to look for wedding dresses. I was nervous I wouldn’t find anything, until I put on a dress and felt the most confident. The dresses at Titled Veil are unique and stunning! Not to mention Heather. She was so helpful and kind, I truly felt very comfortable while trying on dresses. She answered all my questions and put my mind at ease when it to my second appointment where I said yes to the dress. She never rushed me and allowed me the time needed to celebrate saying he’s to the dress and walking me through the next steps.Thank you Heather for such an amazing experience!

I had a great experience shopping at Tilted Veil and ended up saying yes to the dress! Joan and Heather were extremely friendly and patient and brought a variety of dresses based on my taste. Joan was SO helpful and knowledgable she knew exactly what dress would look good on me and knew exactly what designers fit my style The shop itself is rustic and beautiful! I picked up my dress yesterday and was so happy! Thanks Joan and Heather for everything!

Tilted Veil has beautiful dresses, but the experience was disappointing. Myself and the group I came with felt like we were an inconvenience throughout the appointment. I had asked about the number of guests I could bring when I booked my appointment, but when we arrived were treated as if we had thrown them off guard. When I shared my budget and designer preferences at the start of the appointment I was scoffed at that those designers were outside my budget. I would understand being mildly annoyed by me arriving with designers in mind and a budget that doesn't align, but nowhere on the store's website or the designers websites does it include prince ranges. I tried on a few dresses that were picked for me initially and gave feedback on likes and dislikes, but was not offered any more options, so I had to ask to if I could try on more dresses. When I found the dress I loved, I had to be the one to ask about next steps ordering process and pry for information despite being very clear that it was the dress I wanted. My appointment was scheduled for an hour and a half and even after having to ask for more dresses myself, the appointment was over in 35 minutes and I didn't even order the dress because I was so confused about the experience. I ended up ordering the dress I liked elsewhere.I'd also like to add what others have said about the sizing of the sample dresses, I wear a street size 10 and several of the dresses just barely fit.

What a fantastic experience. Every appointment is private giving you the comfort of shopping without other brides or their family there. There is full focus on you. Joan helped me pick my dress and was a pleasure, she was attentive and very helpful! She also got my measurements perfect requiring little alterations. Heather was there when I picked up my dress and was cheerful and supportive, answering all my questions and ensuring I knew what my next steps would be. Thank you, thank you for all your help! I had a fantastic time!

After a really horrible experience somewhere else, we visited Heather at Tilted Veil. While there weren’t a ton of samples for me as a plus sized bride, Heather made it work. She was able to get me into a variety of different styles so that if I did try a dress I couldn’t try on, I’d have an idea of how it would fit.My mom and I had a blast finding the dress with you today. I can’t wait to come back and see it in the spring. Thank you again for making the day really great and memorable for my mom and I.

I recently purchased my wedding dress from Tilted Veil in the spring and my experience was more than amazing to say the least. The staff are extremely welcoming and made me feel very comfortable during my entire appointment. Thanks to Heather and Joan, I found the perfect dress for my wedding and had a very pleasant experience! Would recommend to everyone!

Loved my experience at Tilted Veil and so happy to have found my dress and veil here. I had gone to quite a few wedding dress stores before and was starting to feel a bit discouraged on the wedding dress hunt. However the atmosphere at Tilted Veil was amazing, there was no pressure, and the dress selection was great! So many beautiful options and great designers. If you are wedding dress shopping make Tilted Veil is on your list of stores.

Working with Heather at Tilted Veil was such a great experience! I had visited several other bridal shops in Guelph and ended up finding my wedding dress at Tilted Veil. Heather was very attentive and helpful. I had about a 6-month timeline to get my dress in time for my wedding and she was able to speak with my dress designer's team to try and get it in early. She worked her magic and it came in within about 1 month of ordering it! She also had several great seamstress recommendations, one of which I used and it fit perfectly for my wedding day!
