Angel is a very patient, and awesome teacher.

Completed Level 1 Mandarin at KLT.Although I had signed up for Richmond location, there weren't enough sign ups. Suzanne and Ping suggested me to shift to Downtown or Burnaby location. I chose Burnaby.Teacher Sophie was very patient and I definitely recommend her. Mandarin was a challenge for me, but she helped me to overcome my obstacles and made the experience an enjoyable one with her stories and videos.Another good thing is if you miss a class at one location you can catch up at another location. Class size is limited to a max of 4 people and this is almost like getting private tutoring. Teacher Wendy at Downtown location is also excellent.I would definitely recommend KLT for anyone planning to learn Mandarin in Metro Vancouver!

Very personal, and enjoyable experience!

Really enjoy the Mandarin classes at KLT. I‘ve taken Module 1 with Angel (K.H.) Yuan and she is so enthusiastic. Her lessons are very fun and she engages all classmates into the lesson. Classes are online due to COVID-19, but Angel handles online teaching & communication very well. Great place to start learning Mandarin! :)

My teacher, Sophie, was exceptional teacher. Very patient and accommodating to my schedule. Highly recommend her to anybody wanting to learn Mandarin.

As an English-speaking Canadian, I've taken two Mandarin classes (modules 1 & 2) at Key Language Training in Burnaby, so far. I have loved my experience both times! The classes were the perfect size (small, but with enough people to practise with), and the teacher is really a star. Our teacher for both modules was Sophie Jiang and I can't say enough good things about her. She's great at helping you get over particularly-difficult syllables and teaches you in such a way that, after each class, you feel like you've taken a huge step in the right direction.
