Love being back here. This atmosphere is what I need to stay motivated.

Awesome spot

Gym itself is great love going everyday, awesome vibe comes along with it only downside is time moves twice as fast when you enter as you will be buying a month pass twice a month

I’ll start with the good , The equipment is excellent, The members are great very friendly . The building is in need of some upgrades but that’s beside the fact. There are two of the three staff members are excellent the guy and the new girl are very friendly and personable. Which is a breath of fresh air. The gym is cleaner than it’s ever been since the girl was hired. Now the so called manager Darlene is where the problem is. She is rude ignorant, Very unprofessional chasing members on to the gym floor for payment and embarrassing them instead of pulling them aside and reminding them quietly. I don’t know if the owners see the high staff turn over rate and it’s all due to the fact of how she treats them and manipulates the smallest thing into a big ordeal. She is the sole reason the place is losing good members to other gyms . This lady should not be the face of a gym . All she’s good at is sitting on her phone all day and doing nothing . Let’s not forget putting a dirty old sock on a stick and pretending she’s cleaning. If this business had any sense they would replace her and watch the members return once word gets out. I will not be returning once my membership is up and 3 of my friends are leaving with me. It’s disappointing because i like the gym.

Probably the most run down gym in Cape Breton. A lot of the equipment is top of the line but run down and never maintained properly. Upstairs is freezing in the winter with no heat and boiling in the summer with no air conditioning. No classes, no locker rooms, no tanning, no qualified trainers, over priced memberships. Being the only gig in town, you’re better off going into Glace Bay or Sydney. Only good thing I can say about it is it has the BEST equipment on the island if maintained and owner actually cared about it. It’s a potential diamond but still formed as coal.

Good equipment, building could use some maintenance.. older lady at the desk is very rude.

Best equipment on the island, awesome environment but building could use the maintenance and love it deserves. Employees are friendly and helpful except one lady.
