Very nice and clean place, it has many learning resources that you can access at this location or at home through their website and your library card. I find it very convenient that there is a YMCA right in the same building, in case one wants to do some physical activities.

It's a nice library but it's ruined by incredibly loud, screaming children. Staff don't care and parents don't try to quiet their children. I'm currently here trying to study for finals and even in the quiet study hall" you just hear the screaming children outside in the hall. I remember when libraries were quiet and parents were actually respectful to others and told their children to keep it down."

I love all Calgary libraries. Seton Library is a very nice one. It has big kids area with many fun activities and books of course.

I visited this branch on a Thursday from around 3-5pm. The facility is shiny and new and clean. I had no problem finding a quiet corner to sit and read. A few families and groups of students came and went while I was there, and while I definitely heard them, they weren’t the intolerable disruption that others have complained of. Overall, it’s a lovely library.

Humongous community social place for entire family. Dedicated areas for youth & young kids / separate section for toddlers. Library, theater, ymca gym, pool, rink....high ceiling, walkways...feels like a mall. Good hours. Need another eating place nearby.....excellent resource, plenty parking spaces, accessible to buses. Come one come all!

Very popular location in South East Calgary, houses YMCA, daycare and Calgary Public Library beside a small coffee shop. YMCA here has an Olympic size swimming pool and few splash, small pools for professional and recreation programs. It has facilities FOR indoor ICE hockey, rooms that can be booked for yoga, martal art, etc.You won't feel trapped in a complex as it's very airy and open yet inddor.Best of all they have an actual helicopter in the library :)

This library is beautiful and have different corners for the different ages readers. They have a helicopter structure inside for the children to sit inside and read/play. Then they have small tables and chairs for the young children. They do have colouring sheets and scavengers hunt activities.Overall it has a beautiful layout with good collection of books.

The library is sitting inside the same building of Seton YMCA similar as Shawnessy. But the environment is way more open and urban style. I have been to different public libraries in Calgary and the new style always attract the kids to play and read. It's more like a indoor playground with learning than a library. Love the experience there.
