The Recovery Place
My time at the recovery place was very good. I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to start my life again. My Journey is not over but it started at The Recovery Place. The Place gave me the stability I needed to go back out into world, learn what programs work for me and establish healthy practices to carry forward. I consider myself fortunate to have spent my time their.

The Recovery Place to me is more than a place, it’s a home. The second we entered the front door we were treated like family, As a supporter of someone who was so fortunate to have been a resident of The Recovery Place I took solace in knowing he was in the best place with the best possible support and care to work on his recovery. The counsellors are so genuine, humble and knowledgeable, and the house is immaculate with a homely feel to it.

The Recovery Place
This was the best place for my recovery as I was there from June until November 2021. I couldn’t say more how effective, responsible and fantastic the staff was to me and clients that were there with me was the right fit for me. I highly recommend this home away from home for a safe transition back into a great life that we all deserve. Jay Pasternak the clinical director and all head counsellors from James, Peter and Ross have helped me become a better father , son and husband . Thank you for your support !!!!

The recovery place has been a great sober experience for me. I went in with a severe disease and I left with a new way to treat it. The counsellors are all awesome and have great experience which they share with the clients. Anyone fortunate enough to stay at the recovery place is guaranteed the support they need especially if they put in the work.

The Recovery Place
This place truly saved my life and provided me with the guidance, accountability, and support system needed to successfully reintegrate into society as a sober person. Jay and the staff are special people. Seven years sober and couldn't have done it without The Recovery Place. Highly recommend.

The Recovery Place
Our family has alot of good to say about Recovery Place. Our adult son, who thankfully asked for help after becoming addicted to opioid pain meds willingly went into a 30 day treatment program. On the advise of addiction counselors he went DIRECTLY from that treatment centre to a sober living home rather than returning to our home. That sober house was The Recovery Place run by Jay Pasternak. This was absolutely the correct advice, and the first step in his road to recovery and sober living. Recovery Place was a very supportive and safe environment for him with structure, routine, decent meals, cooperation amongst the 8, or so, resident males and easy access to AA meetings as well as weekly in-house meetings. There was not any SINGLE thing that got our son to the healthy place he is now, but rather many things and many people. But Recovery Place was the post-treatment start of that road ahead and without it, and the steadfast help and support of Jay we wonder if we would have made it. Thank you Jay (and staff).

The Recovery Place
For any one in recovery post treatment for an addiction, it will be a very fragile timeSo many recoverees will slip or fall back into their old behaviours but Jay's Recovery Place has demonstrated itself to be the lifebelt that offers the means to each to reestablish themselves by providing a safe environment while keeping each one accountable. Jay's Recovery Place Is the platform for those wanting to step on the path to sobriety. His evident care and devotion to the wellbeing of his clients has immeasurably helped my son.

The Recovery Place
The Recovery Place is a home away from home for those struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues. When individuals find themselves stuck in that place of horror and uncertainty of if they can continue to remain sober after treatment, the Recovery Place helps to strengthen community support, provide resources and build confidence to continue living sober. You have 24/7 help from caring support staff and a group of roommates who understand the struggle. They become your family, your friends... This is the place to be if you need that extra level of confidence or care in your recovery. The people you meet and the support you receive from here will be a blessing.

The Recovery Place
Our son, who is addicted to alcohol, spent a number of months at The Recovery Place following several rehab facilities over a period of two years. Suffice it to say that for those who are committed to :Recovery" this was and is an essential step to learning that " control "is achievable in establishing a path forward to a fulfilling life. The support network under the guidance of Jay Pasternak
