Vancouver Campervan Rentals

We rented a VW campervan from Westy Campervan Rentals in May 2023 for a 5 000 km trip on Vancouver Island and then through the Canadian Rockies. Sandra made the booking and van collection process very easy and even gave us a lift to the airport when we returned the van which was an added bonus. The van was in good condition, recently serviced and well equipped with extras such as road maps, torches, first aid kit, kitchen condiments and clothes pegs etc etc in addition to the expected kitchenware. The van ran smoothly with no problems whatsoever and was very easy to drive. Not sure why anyone needs those huge American style campervans. We have rented vans in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand and thanks to Sandra's personal touch this was the best renting experience we have had. We just got back from a wonderfull 17 day road trip in one of Sandra’s great little VW Westies. The trip included Whistler, the Olympic Peninsula and Vancouver Island.Having previously owned one we knew what to expect. From the moment we were picked up from the airport till Sandra dropped us off at the end of our trip Sandra really looked after us, she is a kindred spirit.Our Eurovan was more than 25 years old so qualifies to be a genuine classic in every way. But don’t let its age put you off, these vehicles have been expertly maintained throughout their lives and run like they should. The beauty of these little vans is that they are easy to drive and park in the city yet happily cruise along when on the highway. The smaller size and ease of driving was important to us as we also had to cope with the mental transition to Left Hand Drive, something we Aussies have to do when traveling around the rest of the world.Thanks Sandra for a wonderfull product and a great holiday.

Sandra was professional, friendly and easy to communicate with and she put up with my endless questions! The booking process was simple as was the check out/check in. Mechanically, the van ran perfectly and was definitely well cared for and we had no issues even driving in the heat of summer on the Coquihalla.Inside, the van was immaculate and well cleaned. It was stocked with absolutely everything we needed and we had to bring with us was clothing and food. The fridge and stove worked perfectly and was a nice luxury. The bed was comfortable and was enough room for the two of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and time out of the city! We'd definitely do this again!!!Thank you Sandra for trusting us with your beautiful van :)

I could not tell you how amazing our trip was, from start to finish Sandra was wonderful in accommodating us and helping us plan our journey! She gave us great tips and suggestions of where to go as we took our camper (which we named Betty) from Vancouver to Whistler to Banff and back.Betty was a dream with everything you could possibly want or need inside we were set to go anywhere we wanted on our adventure. Hi everyone,My girlfriend and I rent a Van from Sandra in late october 2019. We went to Vancouver Island for 4 days.The experience was amazing and I warmly recommand westy rental. Regarding the van first, he was fonctionning perfectly. The equipement was perfect, we cooked a lot and it was easy.The price is also very good.Eventually, Sandra is amazing and gave us a lot of tips. She was also very responding and professional wich is important regarding that tip of rental!You can go with Westy rental eyes closed.Cheers

We spent one whole month traveling around BC in one of Vancouver Westy Rentals' vans and it was a wonderful experience! If you'd like to see pictures of our trip, also featuring the van, check Vezendi Books on instagram!In short all I have to say is good: we're a family of 4 and we never felt the unit to be too small. Sandra, Westy's manager, was extremely kind and helpful... a person you can trust. On the last day, she even helped us chase after a parcel we ordered for delivery in Vancouver to bring back to Europe and which got lost... and we managed to find it.I would recommend Sandra's vans to anyone without hesitation! Enjoy!

We had an excellent experience with Vancouver Westy Rentals and Sandra, in particular. The camper van itself was incredibly well equipped and very very clean. Communication with Sandra was excellent and she was very friendly and helpful, providing a number of great tips for our trip. The operating instruction for the van were very thorough. Sandra also went out of her way to drop of a number of items to us that we had accidentally forgotten in the camper van after dropping it off to her. Overall it was a great experience and we would highly recommend Sandra and her company if you are looking for a campervan rental in Van. !

Fantastic service from initial inquiries, to pick up and drop off. The van was in great condition, clean and comfortable. Some condiments and essentials already provided too which is incredibly thoughtful. The vans aren't too big so more manageable for getting around and exploring this beautiful part of the world. Can't thank Sandra and team enough for everything. Trip was a dream come true.

We had a terrific Vancouver Island road trip with one of their apparently older VW Westfalia vans. The van was very well equipped with basically everything you’ll ever need on a road trip like this, and despite its age, handled long periods of driving very well! We also received great service from Sandra, the prices are reasonable and everything was done with exceptional professionalism!It was overall a very pleasant experience, a wonderful way to end the summer!10/10 would recommend
