Bolacco Café
This family-run cafe was our home away from home during our stay in Sun Peaks. Especially of note are the baked goods, which come out fresh during the day. They even home bake their sandwich breads. Their sweet cheese and jam turnover tastes just like what my Polish grandmother used to bake. The Kolbasa sandwich is another must try. They also have healthy smoothies and vegetarian options.

What a lovely cafe! Staff at other places highly recommended this place and we were so impressed. Truly family run business, amazing homemade fresh pastries, pies, great coffee and latte, breakfast sandwiches were so delicious and fresh. We went there three or four times in 5 days we stayed at Sun Peaks. Reasonable prices too. We tried few other places that were good too but nothing compares to this cafe. Fantastic atmosphere, great location! Lovely Polish family who run the place for many, many years. Will definitely be back!

We were recommended this place by our Airbnb's guide book and the review sounded so good we had to check it out. Holy hannah, everything was phenomenal. The (I'm guessing) owner was so nice and accomodating, and wanted to make sure my order was perfect. I ordered a mocha and americano, and 2 fresh made cherry custard strudels (danish? see pic). The owner said if I like cherry, I'd love the strudel and he was not wrong. It was the best baked good I've ever had. It tasted like a combo of strudel, croissant and donut. It wasn't too flakey or crusty, and was perfectly baked and soft inside. I don't think I'll experience anything like that again. My husband said it was better than anything he had tried in France.

A lovely, homey cafe in Sun Peaks. The pastries and food are delish, and the drinks the decent. What really makes the place is the welcoming and very friendly staff

Amazing little cafe!! Love the atmosphere and the owners are amazing! Will exceeded your expectations with sweet homemade treats and drinks! I recommend the hot chocolate, which is amazing, but you can’t go wrong with a latte or a cappuccino!!

Oh wow! What a great place to stop by for a great coffee and some pastries. The pastries change every day, based on what the owner are cooking on a dail basis. After entering the coffee, you get a warm welcome by the gorgeous Polish family and everyone takes care of you. We spent 3 days skiing at Sun Peaks and spent 1h per day at the coffee shop enjoying the warm spring sun, doing some phone calls and having a good time. Thank you guys!

matcha was good, and staff was also nice (they gave me a chocolate). one thing i will say is that the layout was kind of awkward with a lot of people in the cafe

Our go to place in Sun Peaks. The owners are the the best and most friendly. All the food, baking and drinks are amazing. Can’t speak highly enough about them.
