Great experience friendly service and the Vet had the perfect touch with my kittens they didn't know they got their shots

called to book an appointment and was treated extremely poorly. the receptionist sounded annoyed and did not care to answer the questions i had tried to ask. i will not be continuing to go here due to the lack of respect and customer service by the people who work here. if you want to work in a place where people need to trust where they're bringing their fur babies, learn how to have human decency or quit your job.

Very unfriendly receptionist the day I phoned in (Thursday afternoon 23rd of march)to make an appointment for the 2nd shot for my puppy, instead she kept asking me when the first shot was given.I was calling from work so I didn't knew the exact date, but I knew 26. March was due for 2nd. . Not listening just kept going until frustrated I hang up.

I have recently switched to this vet and my 1st appointment for simple shots i was there for over 2 hours.I sat in the room waiting for nearly 2 hours with a potty training 3 month old puppy with no explanation why we are waitingThe 1st vet i seen was actually great he apologized for the wait and explained why.No problem unexpected stuff happens all the timeThe next time i went for her next shots the vet i seen seems very pushy and would not listen to a word ive saidPretty much told me im stupid for not free feeding my HEAVILY food driven puppy who is a mixed breed. And both breeds are known to have stomach and weight issue's

I wish I’d have read the reviews on here before having our pup’s records transferred here. For her first appointment, we sat in a room with a vet and listened to him talk about himself and his precious life in Saskatchewan. 40 minutes of our time wasted because he seemed to feel he was the main attraction. I paid a handsome fee for his incessant chatter. He wasn’t even interested in our pup. Arrogant and opinionated.Today we picked up a regular script of 20 tabs of allergy medication. We used to pay in the range of $50 per script. Today, a big fat $95! I argued the price (I wasn’t rude….just floored at the basis for this cost) and was promptly told by the blond front end girl to “relax.” Excuse me?! If I hadn’t have been floored by her rudeness, I would have had a lot to say. People like her are best left ignored. So, no PR or customer service skills here either.If you are looking for caring, compassionate and good care for your pet, this is not the place. Steer clear!

Rudest front desk I have ever encountered. I was really excited to have a small animal vet in town, until I needed after hours care. My puppy got into rodenticide at my place of work and I called for help - the after hours vet was the least compassionate and cold person I have ever talked to. My dog had just ingested the poison and his first response was literally “there’s nothing I can do”. Kind of ridiculous because my old vet in Medicine Hat could do plenty and it started with emetics which I’m certain they could have been able to help with here, what vet office doesn’t have emetics or charcoal? I understand that coagulants may not have been in stock but it could have taken an hour and a half off the time the poison was in his stomach and I could have driven to Medicine Hat or Lethbridge in the meantime to get the antidote. Instead I had to let that poison digest inside my babies stomach for over an hour before having him purge it in Medicine Hat. Seriously flawed care, and I’m seriously unimpressed. I will definitely never be bringing any of my pets back to this clinic and neither should you.

When the old owners had newel vet clinic years ago it was the place to go they put you and your animals first and emergencies were taken seriously. The ignorance from the reception both over the phone and in person is absolutely disgusting not to mention the lack of knowledge. Emergencies arent taken seriously they seem to think a vaccine appointment is more important than an animal needing emergent medical care.

This is the most terrible place to bring your pet and I agree with the other reviews with that opinionated vet and how he talked on and on about how he’s from Saskatchewan and he knows more than us and continually repeated how southern Canadians do not know what they are talking about and kept recommending me to the most terrible recalled food brands ever he kept telling me I’m wrong and I’m too young to know anything when I know everything to a dogs nutritions and what’s best for my dog and her breed I will definitely not be returning to this vet I would rather travel 2 hours then think of coming here again. And I hope this vet reads this and takes the criticism to heart and change his opinionated and rude personality. And keep it professional.
