Hired O Brian paving to do my driveway and some concrete work around the house. Was initially quoted a price and had a hard copy of it. The job was initially planned for the summer of 2021. O Brian ended up emailing me and saying they apologize for the inconvenience of not making it out that summer. But my price and spot would be held for next summer. Come spring of 2022, I received a call stating that prices have gone up due to material costs. I agreed and they went forward with the job. That’s also after waiting another 5 months. After the job was finished, and I mean partially finished. The concrete sealing took another 2 months to finish and the job is “okay”, very streaky. I then received my bill which had another increase of price. Was told the initial quote did not have tax on it. On multiple occasions over the phone they stated the price of the job. In the end the final quote was roughly 6 grand higher than the hard copy quote I had. So if you like waiting almost a year and a half and paying thousands more than you’re quoted. I would hire O Brian paving. Defects include holes in the exposed concrete, walkway sloped at the house so water pools against my foundation. Asphalt cracking next to walkway. Ohh and the concrete truck smushed the front section of driveway in front of the sidewalk.Thank you!!

I had O'Brien Paving repave my driveway. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with this company. They provided me with a quote last year but do to weather backlogs they were unable to start my job. I was informed of the situation and they guaranteed the same price if I was willing to wait until the following spring. The old driveway was excavated and I had to wait four to five weeks for the paving to be done. This gave the gravel a chance to compact again so I will not have any sink holes down the line. The final job looks amazing. The driveway is smooth and uniform. Their staff was friendly and accommodating. The owner was on site while the paving was done and made sure we were happy with the final job. If I had to criticize anything is that you have to be patient when contacting them. I seemed that I always got the voice mail and had to wait for someone to call me back which was not a big deal to us. We understood it is a busy time of year for them. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends and family.

O'Brien was recommended to us by our neighbours. They replaced and extended our failing concrete driveway.The team worked quickly, professionally and very safely. They had lots of patience for all of our questions, arrived when they said that they would, cleaned up after themselves and did a high quality job.We called them back to correct one minor drainage issue, which they did quickly, cheerfully and with quality.I would strongly recommend them to anyone who needs asphalt work done.

I recently had O'Brien paving excavate and repave my 25 year old asphalt driveway. Their service and quality were top rate. When they removed my old asphalt they clearly communicated that it would be approximately 1 month before they could pave. I knew what to expect and had no issues with this time-line.Excavation went smoothly and was professionally completed. The final paving job was excellent and Gary the owner came out to supervise and ensure that the job was completed to his obvious high standards. The crew they have is top notch.My neighbour also had their driveway done at the same time and required a minor repair post-paving. Gary and one of his team came out and took care of it promptly.This is a family run business that has been around more than 40 years. They clearly care about their reputation and understand the importance of doing a quality job to maintain their reputation and to ensure their future success. I would highly recommend them!

I can't remember any names, I apologize. The gentleman who gave me the estimate was friendly, knowledgeable, and showed that he cared about the job that was done. A true professional.After that, every person I've talked to has been very nice, and wanted to make sure they've done a good job.So far, I definitely recommend this paving company! Great people!

I have been forced to use to write this as your phone is constantly busy with no answering service. While driving down Bridgeport Rd - your driver deliberately pulled out in front of me from the off ramp. He pulled into the far lane forcing me to slam my brakes on and switch lanes Not sure why as I was the only car. With your guys driving the heavy dump trucks on public roads - they should be more cautious. He then sped up to over 70km as he saw i was taking a pic of his truck - Posted speed limit is 50!!!! Safety must not be your strong suite with drivers like this!

These guys are amazing to work with. They were on time, and they were professional, and had some really great problem-solving techniques for our driveway, which was in dire repair.

Brand new asphalt driveway installed. Perfection, thick asphalt and our driveway looks great. The crew worked hard, cleaned up area around our driveway. Worth the wait. I would recommend O'Brien Paving. Neighbors that walk our home said our driveway looks awesome.
