D Spot Dessert Cafe Hamilton

Our experience here as a family was great. Even though it’s busy they’ll take your number & call you when the table is ready you never have to wait more than about 15 mins. Tonight in particular we had Yasmin as our server & she was great. Very attentive & made sure we had everything we needed.

Absolutely horrifying experience. Please be aware. I've had issues with this location several times but I thought each time maybe I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. But this was too much. We made an order through Uber we ordered 2 ice creams, one was missing. And 2 chocolate cheesecakes. My husband ate through more than halfway of one of the cakes and realized there's green mold. So we checked the second slice and realized there's mold all over the second slice. This is a huge violation of food safety. We are hoping my husband won't get too sick from this, but this is a huge safety concern. Never again will we be ordering from here. Nor will we have any friends or family order from here and we encourage you don't either.The waffle we ordered didn't have any topping other than a few brownies pieces. This happened twice now. Their quality of food has been very poor compared to the various locations we've been to beforePlease buyers beware as food safety at this store is non existent. Look out for your health and safety and keep away!!!

Great service! Been two times now and here’s how it went.First visit I got a strawberry crepe and it was amazing!Second visit I got the apple pie pancakes and was a little underwhelmed about them, I think a scoop of vanilla ice cream should’ve been a nice touch to them or something. Also got one of the hot chocolate and it was good!

My 11 year old daughter and I wanted to have a nice afternoon date , so she recommended she wanted to come try this new dessert spot in the Hamilton mountain.Place is well decorated (A+) (old Tim Hortons)A few observations:The menu is way too extensive. Like too many choices for desserts. It’s just hard for anyone to pick something, or you are forced to come back over and over again, which could be the business strategy here.The desserts are quite filling, like average 1,000 calories per dessert. Quite big for one person, so may recommend sharing one.The desserts are pretty much same ingredients throughout , just diff concept . (Same ice cream, diff flavours, same crepe , same waffle , sale chocolates, etc, just a variation)Overall, we were both pretty full . Ordered a milkshake but it had the texture of melted chocolate ice cream with whipped cream on top. Not sure if this is the right way to make one.Final bill for 2 desserts and one milkshake: $55 plus your tip for a nice afternoon date with your child. I can only imagine kids bugging their parents to come back everyday to try all of the options.Will I go back? Not sure. I feel nothing appealing about it but overprice dessert options.

We took our two children (4 and 2) and had a great experience. The kids absolutely loved it, service was very friendly, and everything we ordered came out quick. It was afternoon and not very busy as well. We ordered a milkshake, a parfait, the brownie and an iced coffee - the portions are huge and the four of us couldn't finish everything! We will definitely be back - that brownie may have been the best brownie I've had. The server had also made some recommendations that we will try next time when we have bigger appetites. Thanks!

D Spot is a wonderful place to come with family and friends. The decor is unique and welcoming environment. Portions are large and appropriate for pricing. Would definitely recommend to come with others. Service is very kind and fast paced. Kajol was our server and was very welcoming and made sure our needs were met.

Wow!! This place has a big menu! Lots of cool options of desserts but also offers food like pizza, burgers, poutine. It is a great place! I had a crepe with strawberry ice cream and jam. Delicious! My plate easily can be shared. Oh! The Matcha Green Tea Latte was soooooo good. Best I've ever had!!!

Wohoooo!!! Kudos for the huge menu of crepes and waffles.Simply delicious, no matter what you order!Superb place for waffle lovers.

Very nice place.Staffs are friendly and food is awesome.When you are looking at the menu,It's hard to pick one as they all are mouth watering...A dash pricey but highly recommended..For sure going back....
