Camping Le Rayon De Soleil

Nice campground. Wooded tent sites in the southern end are very private. Toilets and showers were clean. Seen just a few mosquitos, that was great. The only downside was the highway noise and the fact that previous campers left some trash (beer and soda cans) in the fireplace. Would recommend for a stopover on the way to Gaspésie.

They were very accommodating. Spots are nicely treed. Internet is weak which is important to us. Off the highway but can't hear highway noise.

My car broke down while driving. They let me borrow tools to fix my car. Very nice guys and saved my trip!

*** BEWARE OF POWER ***Had a power surge at 3AMSurge Protector saved usLarge family campground. Lots of kids having fun everywhere. It appeared to be Halloween at the camp this weekend. Parents and kids had great costumes.Have a little zoo. 3 chicken, 2 goat and a lamb. Cute for kids and the dogs enjoyed the visit.Lots were large clean and fairly level. Hauling two 43 foot fifth wheel trailers. The owner came out and checked blind spots. Power is thirty amp and seemed go until power surge at 3 AM!! Water pressure good and backside plumbing all conveniently laid out.There is a park area for the kids, good sized swimming pool and a chip stand.Long check in and loud highway traffic took the point away here.

Very nice campground with pull thru sites. Older buildings, but clean and well keptSecond year visiting. Musical entertainment added a fun atmosphere. Family and pet friendly!

A great campground! Friendly staff - fluent in French and English. Very good facilities and activities.

We rented a cabin for one night. We expected a cute log cabin but when we entered we saw it was drywall inside. Wouldn't be bad if it was clean. The cabin reeked of cigarettes, there were dead bugs in the window frames, the mattress was horribly uncomfortable and the sheets were stained. We also expected a cabin style mattress covered in plastic to avoid moisture & bed bugs getting in, but they had regular (crappy) spring mattresses with a fabric bed sheet on it. The cabin is equipped with a mini fridge, stove top, sink & microwave which can be a big plus for some, but we would of rathered do without and have it clean with a comfortable mattress. The staff was very kind, but for a campground on the side of a highway with no natural beauty, we expected cleaner facilities. We've been to many campgrounds & cabins, definitely not in the top!

Nice campground. A little hard to get into, but once we did, it was nice. People were very friendly. Showers were very nice. You get 10 minutes of hot water for a loonie. Very spacious and clean.

Nice spot. Lots to do for little ones but not so much for my teenagers. Pool closes too early. (7pm) great pizza! Good size sites and helpful bilingual staff.

Clean. Quiet. Friendly. Reasonably priced. We were able to bring our dog. This campground is just off the highway, but sleeping in a van in the unserviced sites at the other end of the campground (backing onto forest), we could not hear the highway, even with the roof vents open. They were able to accommodate us on short notice, where most other campgrounds are full.
