My favourite upscale grocery in downtown. I love to be here during my break—great selection of food and drinks for lunch. Fantastic atmosphere, free Wi-Fi, lots of room and reasonable prices . PS: Don’t take your coffee from Starbucks and try Urban’s one instead.

Had the bbq slider and the pretzel charcuterie board at the deli/cafe area for $5 happy hour. Not particularly tasty

Nice grocery store - was able to find everything I needed and a couple nice sushi/salad lunch options!

Walked in and needed to pick up some flowers. Walked around to see if I could find anyone to wrap the ones I picked but it was the evening so I didn’t have high hopes. I walked by a gentleman stocking fruit and he offered to wrap them for me and he did a wonderful job and provided me great service. I felt bad pulling him away but he was so kind. It was very much appreciated. :) I didn’t get his name but he had glasses on and a headband with a long hair in a ponytail. Thank you!

I am giving Urban Fare only 2 stars for there sorry attempt of a chicken burger I ordered for lunch. For $15.99 I got 2 chicken strips inside a bun, and the fries were almost none existent. A failure all around. Will not recommend to friends to eat at there restaurant

Whenever I go there the person behind the counter is surly. I’ve tried to order the same thing each time, avocado toast, and they just say they don’t have the ingredients to make it. Which is weird because they’re a grocery store.The other grocery store staff are quite lovely but the café staff are not. It’s expensive but the quality is good. If the café staff were nicer, it would be a much better experience.

I will only go there if I'm really desperate because of its location. Other than that, I try to avoid it because of the outrageous prices. You can get the same merchandise at Whole Foods for less, so try to trek the extra few blocks. The only drawback is that Whole Foods also closes early like this store, which is why I visited this place recently.When I was at the till, I decided to pay with cash since I'm trying to save on my plastic at the moment and was told by the clerk that she could not give me change from a $20. I felt a little flustered since she was the only cashier available during closing, and there were still other customers behind me.Also, the ambiance of this place just seems rather off to me. Doesn't have that homey" feel compared to Whole Foods."

Impressed with the selections and service, they even have a chef cooking in the centre of the deli! The sushi boxes look amazing, the pizzas are cooked up on the spot, there are all kinds of cuisines! Theres a carvery, salad bar, and self service hot meals. The seating area is huge and lots of tables to eat, read, work and people watching. I like this place a lot. I had cabbage rolls, fresh corn, rice and shepherd's pie...I wanted to taste as much as possible, all the dishes were quite authentic.

However, it is worth mentioning that the cashier and customer service need improvement, (and the store seems a little to be lacking proper maintenance.)
