Joyfully Organic Farm

Last year I was looking to get involved with a local organic farm share and Joyfully Organic checked all of the boxes that were important to me. I was excited to try out the membership and from the very first week to the last we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. My hopes and expectations were exceeded in every way and I've happily renewed for 2023!The produce is amazing and so is the entire operation, especially the owners Liz and Matt, and all of their team! It was a treat to go and pick up our share each week from the farm hub. The vibe is low key, friendly, and everyone is super nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Each week we received a variety of freshly harvested organically grown vegetables to be taken home and enjoyed. We loved how tasty and flavourful they were, and found that each week's share was abundant enough to satisfy most of our weekly veggie needs. I also really enjoyed learning about and trying new veggies (to me). The weekly newsletter has fun and insightful descriptions of every item received and also includes wonderful recipes and ideas for preparing some of them.In addition to receiving a weekly supply of amazing locally grown produce and getting to personally know the people who grew it, I love knowing my membership also supports this hard working local business and their amazing farming journey. Their goals of practicing eco-friendly regenerative agriculture and building a community around it seems as important today as ever. Thank you Liz, Matt and the entire Joyfully Organic team for all that you do for our community and keep up the great work!I hope this review may be helpful to anyone thinking of trying an organic farm share and I highly recommend considering Joyfully Organic.

Liz, Matt and all of the farmers at Joyfully are committed to providing healthy, organic vegetables at a reasonable cost. Their interest is not only in the quality of their produce (which is superb: I eat their carrots daily for as long as they last throughout the year), but the quality of the soil they use, and its sustainability. They have also introduced me to new veggies, which I happily incorporate into my vegetarian diet, generally using their recipes or those shared by other farm share members. This form of local organic farming should be adopted as a model for providing sustainable food at a reasonable cost by knowledgeable people who truly care for the earth. They are also really nice people; why would I buy my food anywhere else?

We love getting our farm share from Joyfully Organic each week. There is a great variety of produce and we have been introduced to a few new (to us) veggies. We also love the email with descriptions of the produce and recipes.We have visited the farm a few times (and taken advantage of the cut-your-own flowers). It is great to get to know the folks who grow your food for you and to know they are taking such good care of the land.Trivia question: which crop the the first to be planted and the last to be harvested?

I have been a Farm Share member of Joyfully Organic Farm for many years now; my family loves it! Being a Farm Share member has allowed my family to make, and keep, a committment to eating locally-sourced, healthly organic vegetables.Joyfully Organic Farm's produce has raised our standards for what we expect our vegetables to look, feel and taste like. The farm has also introduced us to new varieties of vegetables that we had yet to try (Caraflex Cabbage is a particular new fave).I have learned that knowing your farmers and trusting their practices is so rewarding! Liz, Matt and the whole Joyfully Organic Farm team are true stewards of their land and soil and the results show up each week in our wonderful box of vegetables.

After watching documentaries encouraging people to eat local and organic for the health of me and my family and the planet, I wanted to make the necessary changes.We were so thankful to find Joyfully Organic Farm, to help us along in our journey.I was first introduced to them at Evergreen Farmers Market.Their produce was so beautiful and delicious I decided to sign up for the yearly farm share.Every week I get to pick up a box packed with local organic produce picked that week from their farm.The taste is beyond delicious.It’s also gotten me out of my routine of eating the same vegetables by trying the variety in the box each week.I receive a weekly email with recipes to make the most of my bounty in a box!I really can’t say enough about the team at Joyfully Organic Farm and the food they put on my family table.The love, care and hard work they pour into their crops shows up in the taste of the produce.Please check them out for the good of you and your families health and for the love of the planet!

Joyfully Organic Farm has provided our family with Quality Healthy Veggies for quite some time now.The Farmers here are very Friendly, Knowledgeable and Passionate about their work. We have learned so much from them. The quality of soil plays a huge part in growing delicious Veggies. We look forward to our Farm pick up day, every week. Exploring new recipes has been a pleasure.

Was introduced to Joyfully Organic by my Mom and have to say it's been AMAZING! Getting a big bag of fresh local organic veg every week has changed our diet completely. The crew at Joyfully are amazing people and their passion for local organic produce is inspiring. Check them out if you live anywhere near Markham. We need to keep supporting local growers instead of food profiteers like the Westons.

Liz, Matt and the entire team at Joyfully Organic are the best people. I have purchased their farm membership for years and look forward to seeing what fresh goodies they have packed for me every week. They are my first stop at the farmers market!

We love being Joyfully Organic Farm share members. The diversity of produce is astounding throughout the season, and we marvel at receiving locally grown lettuces into December! The quality of the produce is top notch. We have never tasted such flavourful butternut squash. But the best part is getting to know our farmers and learning about their farming practices. We love feeling closer to the origins of our food.
