Have used this service for several years with no issues but this year was billed for a visit that did not happen and company , upon notification, retracted bill. That's okay ; mistakes can happen. However, I was billed for an additional service for fertilization. In previous years, I could see clear evidence of fertilization done but this year absolutely no holes anywhere in yard showing deep root fertilization" and no green spots on lawn showing root fertilization as in previous years. Plus being asked to pay invoice for 2 visits when only one visit happened ? (IF that visit even happened ). Also

Very professional yet still personable and the crew was very skilled and knowledgeable.Comments about Arborist Representative: The entire crew that tended to our overgrown trees were skilled in their jobs and friendly and personable in every interaction.General Comments: I knew from reading the initial quote that we were dealing with professionals in this field. Our trees are all over 20 years old and were overpowering our yard. The team was able to remove all the dead and weak branches and trimmed everything so that the trees would still have their grandeur but would be better able to weather the wind and storms that are very much part of where we live. I wasn't sure what to expect but seeing the results was amazing. I describe it to people as saying that the team created natural sculpture using the beautiful frameworks of the trunks and branches of our trees. They look like trees that you would see in a professional photograph or on the set of a picturesque movie set. We will be getting our smaller trees done next to really punctuate the lush comforts of our yard.

Services from this company are not recommended, especially when it comes to communicating the fees associated with the work BEFORE the work is done.To be fair, the terrible service started when the company came to prune and remove diseased and damaged trees last spring, they were under old management and called “Sullivan tree services.” The crew did a very poor job, not removing all the dead branches and aspen trees that had bronze leaf disease. If I had known that May was not a good time to do this work, as they could not accurately assess the damaged branches, I would have scheduled the work for June. I was told to wait until fall to see if the trees would perk up. As it was, I had to call them back to remove 4 more trees in Sept. If all the affected trees had been removed in spring, like we had planned, then we could have replanted new trees last summer. Now we have to wait until next summer. What a waste of time.My biggest issue is with the lack of communication about the quoted fees. I had no idea that grinding the stumps down would cost MUCH more than removing the trees. Five of these stumps were very small, around 2 inch in diameter and one was larger. The original quote I got did not include grinding, which I had not realized. To my surprise, after the grinding was done, I got a bill for $362! There should have been an estimate done BEFORE the work was done. This was very unprofessional. I would not trust their quotes next time around, as they are not upfront and clear about the work included. I do not recommend this company.

What an amazing company! Humble, professional, kind, compassionate and caring! Would highly recommend! They truly care about the community and every living thing that is part of it!!

Had an arbourist trim some trees around my electrical service. They clearly hit the steel tension cable as it is broken right where they were working. When I brought it to their attention they ghosted me and suggested my dying poplar tree was the cause even though the other wires with rubber on them looked fine. Very unprofessional! Won’t be back and will letting other know the lack of service when a mistake is made.

Keith came today to treat our columnar aspen for aphids. Very nice and knowledgeable man. So glad we found Bartlett for our tree care needs.
