Only issue I had was the fries are cooked in the same oil as the fish and the oil was getting old.

Go there for the food. Clams and Chips are the best. No inside, ate at a picnic table. Waited about 50 minutes for food, as went at 4:45 on a Sunday and was busiest time. Will definitely be back.

What a great feed of fresh fish and chips. The batter was perfect not to heavy. Home cut chips and I cannot believe that I could not finish all of the chips, so much of them. . And this from a chip lover.

This place is amazing, my kids love the chicken fingers and chips and the poutine. I had clam and chips which are the best I can say I have ever had. My wife had the special, clam, fish and chips, which she said was the best fish she has ever had. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend this place to anyone that loves fish and chips, clams and chips. One of the best places on the Eastern Shore, definitely doing the place proud.

What a great little roadside stop. BUT WARNING: the portions are huge! I love fish and chips and I was feeling pretty hungry so naturally I go for the 2 piece. But my god that was a lot. And for such a great price! I can only imagine the behemoth of a cod that gave its life for my meal. And holy moly I must’ve eaten at least a dozen potatoes worth of fries. It was delicious so no complaints but I didn’t want to waste anything so I tried my best to polish off the entire meal… nearly vomited in the car ride home and had to take a long nap once I got there. That said, if I did it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Great job Gazoos!

Some of best clams, fish and chips around. It’s too bad that they’re only open seasonally but it’s definitely something to look forward to and makes it kind of a special experience for my girl and I. She always gets the scallops and chips and I usually get the 1/2 clams and 1-pc fish and chips. Definitely my favourite spot for it. Can’t wait to hit them up with her again next year.

Me and the old lady had a hankering for some fish and chips. we did 140 the whole way from halifax and made it to gazoos 4 minutes before closing... The staff here are amazing. Closing was supposed to be at 7, but people were still showing up, and they were still taking orders. The cook made amazing food. And the young lady taking the orders was very polite and energetic. The chips were cooked to perfection, and the fish was a crispy crunchy melt in your mouth and make drule sensation the coleslaw was delightfuly delicious and people if you are a clam lover like myself i recommendthis place. As for my fish and chips spot (oh my cod) in mahone Bay used to be the spot for our fish and chips, but we both agreeGAZOOS IS NOW THE SPOT !!!I always forget to take pics

Probably the best fish & chips I ever had. The fish fillet was thick and juicy, the batter was tasty and crispy. French fries were awesome. An oh, the portions are HUGE! Too bad there's no indoor seating.

The people who run this place are wonderful. I am new to the area and work at the Vet Hospital nearby, I didn’t do my research to know that Gazoos is cash only. They were so kind and accommodating and offered to let me come back to pay, so that I could still enjoy some food today. Which was absolutely delicious as well! And my pup loves the free milkbones :)Thank you for putting a smile on my face today!
