Clinic manager and receptionist staff (the ones in charge of the sleep clinics) are extremely disorganized and rude. I unfortunately worked there for about a month and it was the worst job experience I have ever had. If you are wondering why it takes months for your results and prescriptions it's because they only have 2 workers for all of their doctors since everyone else quits or leaves. This is why you may find it almost impossible to get a hold of the admin who acts as your doctors assistant" or if who you are speaking to on the phone seems like they don't know what they are doing; they probably dont. New hires are left to train themselves through trial by error since the other staff are too busy and overworked. They also do not stay on top of updating the phone extensions on their voice-mail since doctors are constantly getting switched between staff as all of the new hires come and go. The manager cares more about them booking the 12 beds for sleep studies every night then he does the result of your care. I would highly recommend going anywhere else especially if you urgently need care and cannot wait months for what should take them a week to get done for you."

Honestly one of the most uncomfortable experiences ever. The person that was in charge to look after me did not listen to my needs to sleep at all and in the morning i was told that i was going to be woken up at 6am but she woke me 30 minutes earlier and kept rushing me. I didn’t have a chance to clean the leftover vaseline or brush my hair. I later noticed she was rushing to get her ride. This is also the worst experience when it comes to actually contacting the clinic. Never get a response and there is no voicemail options. Very disappointed

No calls being returned. Received a call from a doctor who was professional and mentioned that I will recieve a call that same day. Well, waited a week and no calls. I called and left VM. Week later no call back. Called and again and no one answers the phone. Will ask to be referred somewhere else. If they cannot returned a call, not sure what service they can provide.

I had my first sleep study two months ago. I see reports here of everything being very clean. This was not my experience. I wrote a message about the blanket of dust under the bed and how uncomfortable it made me for several weeks following that testing due to allergies. I spoke with the doctor about it and he apologized. At my appointment last night, I looked under the bed in room 2 and there was a horrible amount of dust and dirt and a big bag of bundled bedding. When I mentioned the dirt to the technician, she said that she just comes and goes like me...she is not the cleaner. She said that I should report my unhappiness to the receptionist. When I moved into the hall to find a receptionist, my tech informed me that there was no receptionist at the desk that evening. The lack of cleanliness sets me up again for congestion and discomfort for a few weeks again. This is unacceptable for a medical facility isn't it?

I arrived early and ended up being called in 20 minutes after my scheduled arrival time. I was given a room and advised to unpack my belongings and the technician would be with me shortly to attach the electrodes. About five minutes later the technician came and had me sit in a chair in the hallway where he proceeded to explain he was going to attach electrodes and monitors. About five minutes later an irate patient arrived and he excused himself to go and check in at which point I was asked to vacate the room I was given and they gave it to her. I was told that I was being given the most comfortable room (which turned out to be the worst one actually). I had to sit and wait in the hallway for close to 10 minutes while the new woman figured out which room she wanted and settled herself in, constantly coming out every few seconds to ask my technician another question and interrupting our electrode application. Once all of them had been applied and I was in my room, it was nearly midnight before he came in to set me up for bed at which point he urged me to fall asleep quickly. I was asked twice to turn off my television and go to sleep despite having told him that I usually don't fall asleep until 3 AM, I also was interrupted every time my face tube came out, the technician would come into my room and turn on the main light which would wake me up and was extremely disruptive. I could hear the wheels in his chair rolling around on the floor all night long, I heard them laughing and talking, I could hear other people snoring, I could hear water running in the pipes, I could smell the food they prepared at 4 am....despite the GORGEOUS pictures advertised, my bed was sagging in the centre and was extraordinarily uncomfortable, not to mention I had very little area to store my belongings. I could not sleep in a comfortable position's because of the monitor that was placed on my thumb that did not fit me and had to be replaced multiple times so I was advised to keep my thumb up and out of the covers all night long. It has been over nine weeks and I still have not seen or heard of results, neither has my doctor. If you are scheduled at this clinic or if your doctor recommends sending you here, I highly advise you to find another OHIP covered clinic elsewhere and ask for a referral to the clinic because this one is not one I would recommend.

Look, this is not a fun experience. However, the staff was extremely helpful, considerate and competent (albeit extremely overqualified for their jobs). I found it to be really clean. I felt safe, which is important to me. Dr Ong is great. All in all a very helpful experience.

I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism. Technician addressed any concerns and very corteous as well. Room and washroom areas were very clean. Bedding as well and quite comfortable. When I needed to get up in the nught, tech was there in an instant. All round top notch experience. Thank you.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very professional and made you feel comfortable. The problem is the amount of time it takes to get your results. They clearly do not have enough doctors so be prepared to wait months for your results. I recently had a sleep study with my mask so they could figure out what pressure is best and I have to wait until July to get an appt with the doctor. So basically I will be waiting 3 months to see what my pressure should be set at to reduce my events.

You will not like this experience and it will be difficult to sleep. Here are the things I wish I knew before booking:- they will hook 25+ sensors in your face, head, torso and legs. Most of them are in your head and face.- all the wires make it very difficult and uncomfortable to sleep. You can’t move freely and wires get stuck as you do.- if you need to use the bathroom, you’ll have to call an operator to unhook you from the machines.- there is a camera where operators will be watching you all nightI could barely sleep all night because of this.

I had a sleep test at this centre years ago. I was okay. Now I want to connect to my doctor to get a prescription for a new CPAP machine and it's been 6 months that I've been calling them and no answer. This is ridiculous. I even emailed them several times and no answer.I read all the reviews here and many people had the same issues that I have.Isn't a good reason for the management to change their unprofessional behavior ? Look at your reviews and take a look at your falling star …
