Authentic, family-run Afghan restaurant. I've been ordering from Afghan Chopan ever since I was a student when they graciously offered student combos. I really appreciated having a healthy, affordable and tasty meal. An Afghan coworker had also recommended this as the best value Afghan restaurant around. I agree. I particularly love the kebabs. The spinach and eggplant side dishes are yummy too.

Food was great, smelled and tasted delicious but it seems the more you go back there the more you get underwhelmed with the food selection. It's nothing too special, especially the rice wasn't as flavourful like it is in traditionally made dishes, a little too greasy too. Skip the rice and go for the meat only options.Also, an Afghan restaurant but no menu in Persian??? Basically the waiter has to translate the whole thing if customer doesn't know English. A little shocking to be honest.Prices were a little steep considering it wasn't anything amazing but it's still reasonable if you want to get a taste

Incredible food. Great location. Great lunch special deals (photos attached). Delicious chai. They even have comfy floor-seating areas for parties greater than 6. I will be a regular here.

Afghan Chopan Bakery & Diner
Solid food with great flavours. The chicken and steak were well seasoned and very tender. I enjoyed both dishes but for the price, i do wish that each one came with a bit more meat. Otherwise, we were satisfied with our meal.

Amazing, fresh food served at this family run restaurant. The food is authentic Afghan cuisine. This is my go-to place every time I am in Vancouver. The staff is courteous and the food is reasonably priced. Definitely try this place out if you are in this neighbourhood.

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Iftar buffet at Afghan Chopan restaurant and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The restaurant was immaculately clean and the ambiance was very welcoming.The food was absolutely delicious and there was a wide variety of options available to suit every taste. The quality of the food was top-notch and it was evident that the chefs put a lot of effort into preparing each dish.The customer service was also exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive and made sure that everyone was well taken care of. However, I must mention that the cost per person was a bit on the higher side. But considering the quality of the food and the excellent service, it was definitely worth it.Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Afghan Chopan and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a clean and welcoming environment.

Everyone that works there is always so friendly and provides great customer service :)The restaurant itself is clean and the price point is good. As for the food, I was disappointed with my pallow as the raisins were really soggy and the whole dish seemed on the wetter side? Different from what I’ve had before.Otherwise very happy with everything else. Thanks for a great meal!
