One of the best customer service experiences I have had period. I have dealt with many Marinas over the years and have rarely had even a mediocre experience. Thanks to Avery and Mike for everything they did to get my boat back up and running during the busiest time of the year. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Muskoka Lakes Marine and highly recommend them.

Under new management and even with all the turmoil of construction behind schedule and staff shortages they came through to have my boat repaired when asked, cleaned and even delivered right to our boathouse. Definitely 5 star service. Can't wait for the new building to be completed. It will be even better!!

Michelle, Joe, Jake, both Cams, and all the crew at Muskoka Lakes Marine are the best!!! Just saved us a lot of dough on major routine Mercruiser maintenance, and they're getting boat back on the water asap for lots more good times. Always a pleasure doing business with MLM in Rosseau!

Refer to attached photos for a detailed review...I had requested that the boat’s interior vinyl be cleaned, the stainless rub rail around the windscreen polished and the hull waxed.I was charged for work that never happened with respect to the vinyl cleaning and the rub rail polish. The boat went back into the water after I had spoken to the customer relations manager (owners son) face to face and via phone and text on several occasions about a rectification to have the work completed. The boat went back into the water with wax left on the hull after I had several conversations about my concerns due to requested work not being completed.I had a tremendous communication issue with the service manager Joe Gabrowski. I come from a professional white collar specialized line of work with a huge emphasis on communication and human factors. Joe in my opinion has no business in a customer-oriented service line of work.I has asked that after the boat was put in the water that it be left tied up so I could run the boat for the first run of the season. This started a huge myriad of issues. I actually had the owners son explain to me that it “sounded as though you (myself/owner) and Joe (service manager) both want to play Captain”.Not a huge request by the owner of a boat that is irreplaceable and in today’s dollars would cost upwards of $450K USD to replace. Chris Craft Corsair 32 or Formula 292 Fastech for example.Ben Smith (owner) had mentioned to me that he didn’t have much mechanical knowledge or understanding of that end of his operation. This made it quite difficult to communicate my concerns/ wants and needs. He had mentioned that perhaps my requests for cleaning and handling of the boat were too high maintenance for his operation.I had similar conversation with the customer service manager who basically said to me that he keeps his distance from the service department and lets Joe “run his show” Basically unable to understand some of my requests or relate to them. One of the mechanics asked me how the thru hull exhaust (silent choice) pneumatic worked as he had attempted to open the exhaust but didn’t understand how the system worked. The nail in the coffin with this operation was after I had repeatedly asked that a line mechanic not start the boat in the spring via multiple texts and face to face conversations that went as far up as the owner – the Service Manager went ahead and launched my boat as fast as he could while I made the 90 minute drive up so that he could run both engines himself.I asked him about that situation upon arrival and he was fairly aggressive with me and with a lot of visible emotion and attitude indicated “Oh ya, we fired them, We fired them both” In other words ran both engines as I had requested that they not do.The owner’s son wanted to talk to me as the owner about the standard operating procedure and the legality and so on after I had re iterated that they were old, carburetted engines with Holley carbs which needed to be mechanically pumped numerous times with a cold engine and that I didn’t want to see them suffer a lot of wear and tear with multiple start attempts at the age of 34 years old with 1300 hours on them. In other words – it’s my boat, please perform the work I’ve asked and paid for and leave the boat to me at the end of it.Seeing the boat mishandled and having to get into borderline arguments over simple requests was incredibly disappointing from a customer service stand point. Especially with my personal sentimental connection to this boat which I grew up with.

Great Service. We own a water access recreational property which starting in May became our temporary permanent home. Can only get to it by boat. Muskoka Lakes Marine went out of their way on short notice to deliver our boat to allow access to our property. Life saver. Many thanks
