Jackfish is a super cool spot in Charlie Lake! Great patio, great beer selection, good caesars and clean bathrooms! The serving staff were all very sweet and helpful.I recommend the taco salad - delicious. Also, JFD has been running great live music on weekends!

Great pub atmosphere! Beautiful building! Great service! We ate stuffed mushrooms, calamari, rock cod, Greek salad, and tiramisu for dessert! The food was excellent! Everything definitely made in house, including the salad dressing and pita bread that came with it! The cod was cooked just right, not drowning in sauce. As fir the dessert, it was delicious and if it wasn't made in house, my tastebuds couldn't tell the difference.The only down-side is we went for Karaoke Thursda, however, it was too quiet at the pub for Karaoke :(I highly recommend dining at this pub and hopefully the karaoke Thursday will pick up in the future!

Great pub. Don't be fooled by the faded sign and pothole ridden approach. This place serves great food. Local beef for steak. Succulent pasta. Great Caesar's. Our waitress was Kim who was very caring and professional. I would gladly return here next time I'm passing through.

This is far and away the best of any pub in FSJ from what I have seen. Beer selection though is terrible. Out in the middle of nowhere too. Bad beer and long drives are par for the course though. At least the food is good. I expect the service to be terrible in an oil town and to be honest as long as they bring my food to me I could care less about smiles. Who wants to work for minimum wage in an oil town. I wouldn't.....

They picked us up in their shuttle and the driver was awesome. The food is fantastic and the music is pretty good. Our waitress is great to. Shuttle home! What a superb place to go.

Food and live music was good. Beer selection was not great and menu is on the small size. Some tables are poorly lit and I didn't appreciate the group that sat down nearby that were sharing (yelling) puke stories to each other. They knew the waitress so I guess it's okay.

First time eating there was today 13/08/17. What an awesome place to go. Inside the pub is just like how a pub should feel, dark colours, wood beams, good music and nicely updated features. The bison burger I had was on point, the house soup of the day was very hardy and delicious. Staff are awesome, greet you with a big smile, excellent service, very friendly. Definitely coming back.

Service at this restaurant is a joke. I moved here not long ago, and have noticed the food quality has dropped significantly. Brought my friends and mom here and they were sorely disappointed with the complete lack of service and disappointing meals. Never had a single good server, even longtime locals say the place has been going downhill. Better to find another spot in town that provides you with good food and service.
