Salt & Sol Restaurant and Lounge
Let's start off by saying, this is the best service at a restaurant I've gotten in a long time! The staff is really friendly! Showed up with my partner and said we could sit anywhere, so we took the couch with what id say the nicest view! The waitress brought us a blanket which was really nice of her.The food was delicious and the drinks had been great as well. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone as the prices are very reasonable.

Amazing service from Jennifer! She helped us make great picks from the menu. The chowder was the best we've had. Really fresh oysters. Great views. Would highly recommend this spot.

Beautiful spot in the city. On the water in the yacht club. The atmosphere inside and out was wonderful, it was very busy for a Wednesday evening, but we were still able to hear each other very well. The menu as alot of drink and food options. Unfortunately the drink we ordered was not to are lacking but the local beer is definitely a must have.The salade was over dressed and the dressing was bitter, but the vegetables were fresh and diverse. The mussels and oysters were so fresh and tasty, and the plates are a good portion. The lobster roll was big and full of taste.The service was done with a smile at all times and everyone was so welcoming. Very quick service and if there was a delay, which only happened with the coffee at desert, the server came to explain the machine needed to be reheated, which was not a problem at all.Overall we really enjoyed the experience the restaurant offered.

Beautiful views over the yacht club and friendly service but the food was a miss. While dishes were cooked competently, the flavours didn’t work at all in most cases - the tuna searing hot with chilli but no other flavours, the beef tartar so bland it could have been plain hamburger meat, and the pork ribs desperately over seasoned with far, far too much going on so that nobody wanted a second one. A pity because the potential is there for this place to be a winner.

Salt & Sol has been my go to for years. There is not many places you receive great service, great food and a great atmosphere.Today I got the Nashville Hot Chicken and my boyfriend got the Lobster Roll. He says the lobster roll was a 9.5/10! Mine was equally fantastic!I have never received bad service at Salt & Sol. Today our server Jen was especially good! She took time to talk to us and went the extra mile.

Offers great food and very pretty ambiance. Had the beef tartare for the appetizer. The flavours were well-balanced and allowed the natural taste of the beef to shine through. The crispy skin salmon was my fav. The beef brisket nihari was flavourful and spicy in a good way. Food was undoubtedly the highlight of my visit. The slow service experienced during my visit was a significant drawback.Overall: satisfactory dining experience.

The service was excellent! The view was great! The food was delicious. My wife discovered she likes mussels after trying theirs; I absolutely recommend them. They even help you find a place if you want something they don't have on the menu. Good selection of craft beers too. They even give you a blanket if you want to stay and sip your beer and talk once the sun sets. We can't go to Charlottetown without going there!!

What a stunning meal! The depth of flavour and heat in the chowder made it one of the best bowls on Prince Edward Island. Absolutely wowed by presentation as well. My partner had the Nashville Chicken sandwich and he was blown away by it. Service was incredible, everyone seemed happy to be there. All in all an awesome experience and am looking forward to going back!

Good food, and a very nice location to look out at the water, however it is priced a bit high for what is offered. The portion sizes are quite small. The food however is good, and the service is fast and friendly. There are some weird options on the menu that seem a bit hipster - like stir fry with fried pita (that's a bit difficult to eat as you cant use your fork in the hard pita but they're big sizes). I would recommend for the ambiance, but you can for sure find somewhere equally as good for a better price/quantity ratio.
