Magic Event-Sound & Lights Hire Company London

We used Magic Event many times for our events and we are very happy with their work. Equipment's are really top class. Staff always friendly , at the moment always on time:) they also provided some items extra for free to make event look much better. We was about to leave a review on FB but we could not find it so we leaving here. Thanks !

Absolutely amazing company, made our wedding venue look amazing, nothing was too much trouble, big thanks to Lucas for organizing it for us, and Lesh for coming out and setting it up, will definitely use this company again,Mickey & Lisa

Magic event hire are amazing. Lucas responds to emails quickly and always keeps you updated with progress.He is willing to go the extra mile to accommodate your needs.The starlit dance floor looked amazing at my wedding reception and family and friends enjoyed dancing on it.From the bottom of our hearts, thank you and all the best! We’ll definitely be recommending magic events to all of our friends and family.

We were very disappointed with Magic Event and will not be using them ever again. My advice to anyone else would be to also not use. They seem to have very good reviews on their website, I emailed them to express my disappointment, their response was that they “rated the event 5/5”, it seems the rating in their website are their own opinions not the opinions of their clients.They said they would attend on the Friday night, they didn’t turn up or call to let us know. Eventually they called back after numerous calls, their excuse was that their van had broken down.No contact on the Saturday morning either, whilst preparing for our wedding we were sorting out a sound bar to use as we had lost all confidence in Magic Event.They did eventually make contact with further excuses and did set up. They complained they did not have enough room however should they have turned up when they said they would we could have planned with them.Lighting was not what they advertised. It seems there was a lit DJ, some very small flames and a ceiling laser. No smoke machine or any other disco style lights. They claimed they had these but it may have been they chose not to use them. They said they used extra uplighters which was nice but not necessary and did not make up for the additional stress and anxiety they caused.In emails with them they expressed they did not profit from our event due to their broken down van, not relevant or necessary for us to know. They have also tried claiming another suppliers white backdrop and fairy-lights decorations as their own.Opportunities to put this right we’re given and multiple emails exchanged with them. They responded with numerous excuses and photographs, sadly these did not make up for the issues.In my opinion this company is not worth using for the extra anxiety, stress, non communication and inconvenience caused to us.Update 08.05.18Update as requested by Magic Event.After completing this review Magic Event sent two emails on Sunday morning. The first thanking me for my reviews and informing me they would be ‘making a formal complaint’ about myself. Personally as a paying customer I found this threat very concerning and no further information was provided as to who they were planning on complaining to about their customers. We were also informed that two people - David and Peter would be telephoning us on the Monday, this did not happen. The second explained further that they had some issues and although they passed some of the blame onto us the customers they offered us a refund of £70.00. (Later on checking this had happened the actually refunded us £100.00.) They also offered us ‘a huge discount on future events’ which we will not be up-taking.They agreed that we did not receive some of the lighting in the package we had booked. They said this was due to not having enough plug sockets. My opinion is that should they have arrived when stated we could have worked this out between suppliers or they could have provided an extension lead which to me is a vital piece of equipment for a company such as this. They informed me I should have had a wedding planning or a site plan, unfortunately our event was small and would have had no need for either should they have arrived as planned. Spending the night before my wedding drawing a site plan for a company who failed to arrive when stated was not an option.Magic event were given the opportunity to comment and make right the issues experienced prior to my reviews but chose not to. They since (after the first threatening toned email on Sunday) have been much more apologetic and refunded some of the cost.I have learnt from this mistake, a large company is not necessarily better and not to trust reviews on sites owned by the company.

We recently used magic event hire for my daughterssweet 16th birthday party. The hall looked absolutelyamazing! The guy who came to install everything wasso lovely and really helpful with ensuring my visioncame to life. The photo booth was a big hit and theguy running it was so lovely also and made the familyfeel at ease and ensured we got all our photos formemories. My family loved them both lol as they wereso warm and done everything they could to make theday special for our baby girl. From the orderingprocess to creating the designs they were on handday and night for questions (and I had a lot of them)and were so efficient and quick to respond to mewhich reassured me that I placed my daughtersbirthday hall prep in the right hands. Thank you somuch for everything you done, the day couldn't havebeen more perfect! Andrea

Thank you Magic Event ltd for the A* service! Friendly, helpful and efficient staff from booking to installation . The technician was present all throughout the event. The led dance floor, smoke machine and lighting were better than expected. Well pleased with everything! Highly recommended!

We would like to say thank you to Magic Event Team for making our Wedding Venue so beautiful. Lucas is absolutely brilliant and he was a pleasure to deal with. On the day of the Wedding we were so impressed about the professionalism of Lesh and all the team as they arrived early and finished all set up on time. We used the company to cover all rooms with backdrops. The backdrops were a wonderful quality and with a very good price. It is so nice to see pictures of our Wedding on Magic Event Facebook Page.
