Really good daycare! Teachers take care about kids. There are so many activities around the year. Nice toys for playing with. Everyday children learn something new. And the most important: friendly atmosphere in the team.

Montessori is not for everyone so make sure you do your research before enrolling your kid in a Montessori school. I can't say enough good things about this school. Our daughter started here when she was 2,5 years, and she's thriving. She loves going to school, and on weekends she says she misses the teachers. She has learned incredibly much since she started and we can't be happier with her development. They do use the playground next to the building and the outside area. If they don't, they go for nature walks or walk down Walton Ave to the playground by the Elementary school (which my daughter refers to as the big playground". The teachers are very patient with the kids. They do have rules and structure which they appreciate if you follow at home as well

Not recommending. On tour guide I thought it's a great daycare with big playground (spoiler, kids almost not playing there).Administratior pushed me to buy a check book, even though other parents paid with etransfer. Why am I supposed to do that I didn't understand. That was offensive. After a year of visiting day care, my child lost her skills of cutting, because they don't do it. THEY DON'T PLAY WITH PLAYDOUGH!!!! They give kids small boxes with couple pieces of Lego (which is completely not enough for kids to build anything or play normaly). That have story time" before nap... but actually it's a screen time on tiny tablet.Because the whole day

The teachers at Canyon Springs are patient, loving and very experienced. My son has been here for less than a year but he's learned so much in many different aspects. He also loves going to day care.

There are a lot of nice field trips and the kids do a winter concert, but day-to-day, the teachers really know and care about each of the kids and do their best to help them each learn. We were really impressed by our experience with our daughter attending Canyon Springs Montessori.

We came to the Canyon spring Montessori school (Coquitlam) two years ago by recommendation, after a very thorough searching, and we found here a very warm and kids friendly environment (yes, not every school has it, unfortunately, in my opinion). As a Montessori mom, I always strive to surround my child with a friendly, patient and, what is the most important, respectful attitude according to the Montessori principals and similar to what we've been practicing at home since birth. We are very happy with our teacher Ms.Gordana and glad to have her as our First Teacher. As a result of our journey and individual approach that Montessori system stands for, my daughter at her 5y.o. counts up to 1000, performs math operations in mind up to 100, even started to write in English (she's ESL).But what is more important for me, she likes spending time there and learning! During these years, she became very confident in speaking and listening in English, and initiative in group discussions and asking questions. I wish we could stay here for two more years instead of Kindergarten!P.S. Anyway, Montessori is not for everyone! Please, do you research on what it offers and how it differs from the play based daycares to consider the trade-offs before starting!I've attached some of our learning booklets. Hope my opinion helps anyone to make the right decision for their child!

When I go to work, I want to know that my children are somewhere safe, nurturing and loving. This is everything Canyon Springs Montessori offers and more. The teachers are experienced, dedicated and unlike other daycares, have been there for a long time. They are supporting and caring, making each child feel welcome and safe. They introduce them to French, Mandarin, Arts and craft, Science and music along with many other things. They but on many extra activities throughout the year. The most impressive event on Canyon Springs' calendar, and eagerly awaited by the parents, are the Christmas and end of year concerts. My daughter has enjoyed her time at Canyon Springs so much that we will be making sure our second daughter gets the same experience.
