Awesome place to work, awesome managers, and great owner,

The work on 93st is coming along well, but after a closer look I had noticed sod work was not installed properly. Not flesh with the sidewalks, not staggered and not close to fences which was showing a few inches of dirt. Either the workers don't want to make the necessary cuts and get the job done in a time frame or they don't properly know how to install. I had mentioned this to a worker and he couldn't care less and I didnt get his name. I understand they work hard and long hours but cutting corners is not what I expect of a landscaping company. It's not that it has to be up to my standards it's the fact that work should be done correctly.

Great company, great people and I always enjoy a good days of work them. Worked here over the summer and currently working here in the winter. No complaints.

Note: There's some reviews here about some guys helping out others like a good Samaritan and this is a very legitimate review.I was out having trouble starting my car in this cold morning and saw one of them working hard snow plowing one of their clients' sidewalk. I had asked if there's any chance they can give a guy a boost and sure enough after a good 15 mins of helping out, (while still doing their job) was able to get my car going.Denardo was one of the fellas that was very helpful. His crew is quite capable and I'm sure the owner is quite lucky to have these guys in the company.If this is any sort of indication of the type of people that's working in this company, they'll grow big in no time.

After I didn’t go through with their quote and landscaped my own backyard one of the senior landscapers walked into my yard with a qualico construction worker and they were trash talking my work not knowing they were on camera the whole time. Kind of funny that they didn’t realize I had a back door camera recording audio and video when they trespassed onto my property. Super unprofessional . Plus the sod they use is trash and cheap.

Kudos to the workers of this place who pulled over to tow a car and it’s driver who crashed and landed in the ditch on this cold snowy day nice to see good people still exist!

Id suggest not letting idiots drive your fleet vehicles. It says a lot about the level of professionalism that can be expected of your business.

Literally looked like you guys just threw the sod down and rolled it out. Bare minimum kinda stuff. Very little attention to detail on the installation. I fixed what I could in front of my place after work. Not to mention you guys didn't even pack down, the poorly raked, dirt. By the looks of it this company covers alot of ground over a short period. Better luck next time I guess. Shortcuts > Quality ???122 Ave all the way southbound down 93st .I didn't realize expecting a job to be completed correctly is considered having high standards.

Cutting Edge has employed me for many years, though I don't work for them currently. Guys, listen. Despite a few negative reviews I will give you the truth about cutting edge. Yes they work long hours. Yes cut breaks when needed but they deliver. I have never worked for someone who cares about his clients and the quality they put into the work as much as Kris hasalomf with the rest of his team. Why do you think theh work so much? To make sure everything is a 100% for you. If you're looking to get landscaping done or even need recommendation you can bet you can call these guys and they will be happy to help. I have my ups and downs with them but that was as an employee but if I were a client I would hands down have them do my work. And for the employees and for future employees, let me say that I have worked for almost every landscaping company in Edmonton and greater area and no one will treat you better than these guys. I have gotten pay cheques months late from other companies. I have even had to go to labojr standards to get paid a lousy 1000 dollars. have been degraded and cheated many times but cutting edge hasn't done me wrong. If anything they helped me aquir a work ethic that is being admired by my current employer ( and I work for the city). I have gotten every penny I worked for by Cutting Edge. I have been recognized and rewarded for my hard work through raises and bonuses. No word of a lie here. I have gotten all my OT and as much OT as I wanted. It was always paid in full and on time. Cutting Edge is by far the best company to go. Highly recommended. Plus, they're managers are the best. Best sense of humour ever.

U got guys working on James Mowat trail, truck pulled over, no beacon, no 4 ways. No road blocks. Very unsafe
