Kayan Shisha Hookah Cafe

I come here because they provide high quality hookah and great flavour combinations. I come back for the chill atmosphere, tasty food and friendly service.

Well, I don’t y ppl have bad revya out this place , it’s one of the nicest and cleanest shisha place I have been to, staff was amazing , decor was amazing , I ordered pina colada’s flavour with Turkish imported tea , wow it was amazing I ordered with the Klautus head, it’s convenient n u can enjoy the flavour more, and if you opt for disposable pipe, they write the name on it when u leave so if you are coming next day you don’t have to buy it again SWeeet, the strawberry shake was so gooood, the set is Instagram worthy too , you can check out my pics , if u think they r nice hit like and enjoy ur sheesha btw I’m a sheesha lover if it’s not a nice place I never put this much effort for writing a review.. cheers!!!

They said you have to get 2 shisha’s if it’s 3 people which I said whatever ok fine. What I wasn’t ok with though was the owner asking not to ‘’ lounge’’ in the area with the traditional pillows and coverings as I was laying down sideways. At the end we went to pay and the person taking the payment had zero customer service). No smile, no thanks for coming, see next, etc) . Wouldn’t come back as there are much better hookah bars out there then this whole in the wall place that definitely needs some updates.

Review Update: After 3 years of living on Ontario, I finally moved back to Burnaby and visited Kayan Shisha Cafe again on June 13th. It's still my favourite shisha cafe ever. The owner, Oula, has updated the place with enhanced cleaning and safety protocols to adhere to Covid guidelines. There are plastic dividers between tables, one time use disposable hookah hoses, and well-spaced out tables. I feel very safe and protected. I also love the new menu and awesome drinks. I highly recommend the hibiscus iced tea and berry sorbet hookah. Look forward to coming here regularly again! The atmosphere is relaxing and exotic with the beautiful drapes and comfortable cushions. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. I never feel rushed and I feel like I can chill all day here! Also, the pipes are cleaned very well and the flavours are fantastic! Always fun to make smoke rings with :). Highly recommend it, and can’t wait to come again!

Super chill. Great way to end a night. Order your hookah with the Lotus lid and frozen pipes it will change your smoke experience. Top it off with some traditional Turkish tea and you're set

I came last night I ordered one shisha for 2 person and my other friend come after a moment the stuff asked me for order another shisha i he’s not smoking they said you still have to order another shishaAnd l left I think that was rude the stuff not professional any way I recommend ppl not going there anymore.

This is the best Hookah I had in a long time. Not only the shisha was smooth, the ambience was great the service was exceptional and the staff and owner respected the guests space and privacy. A 2 hour timeframe for a shisha policy was fair and ample time to socialize and read up on tik tok and insta. Well done aslo with the tasty menu that they offer. Highly recommended.

Loved it.Super professional, well run with great hookah and beautiful artwork. The vibe is set up really well, which is super important for a shisha parlor, coal changed often enough to maintain the smoke, super tasty hookah flavor with a great menu.
