Not only is Wallflower a safe, loving home for many animal pals, but often ends up feeling like home when volunteering as well. You will make the best friends you have ever known, without ever having a full conversation. (Don't get me wrong, the animals are the best listeners, and will put up with your ranting for hours) Yet still showing affection and love in their own ways. (Ever hugged a turkey? Cuddled a pig? It's pretty great.)As someone who has openly struggled with mental health throughout my life, Wallflower has always been the one place I feel most at peace, and that isn't by chance. Between the animals and the amazing community surrounding it, Wallflower will always be my favourite place to be. Volunteering could be the beginning of your peace, please consider it.
