Cardel Homes

The water is coming from outside to my basement, but they said it is not structural issue and not under warranty. I have to fix by myself. The house was built on 2012 by Cardel homes. Another issue was furnace, designed two furnaces, it is 2675 SQFT house, but they only built one for me.

We purchased a home from Cardel and then got an inspection done. Our attic was done so poorly that it didn't have appropriate ventilation causing attic rain. The place where there is supposed to be a vent was clearly patched up without putting a vent and glossed over. The grading was not up to code and I'm not even sure how it passed the city inspections (as was our home inspector). The basement vapor barrier was also not properly installed causing residual water to leak into the basement. After numerous 4mails and phone calls, and no replies, we had no choice but to leave this review. I have number of friends considering Cardel Homes which I will heavily advise against and I hope that anyone reading this also reconsiders buying a home from these guys.

We purchased a top floor unit a year ago and have been very pleased with everything involved, including help from the sales office, warranty people, and so forth. We recommend Cardel Lifestyles.

What a crapshoot. Why can’t this company hire people who know how to build windows? Windows, balcony, building envelope all around - these guys are a complete disaster. Just do a little googling about their tendency to build with shell companies (“limited partnerships” that they promptly dismantle after construction to avoid liability for their horrible construction standards. 6 year old building, 6.5 million in damages and a 20k special assessment. Thanks guys. Thanks a lot. Thanks for ruining my life.

I am a first time home buyer and could not have asked for a better experience working with Cardel. Everyone I worked with in the process was friendly and knowledgeable and went the extra mile to communicate with me and make sure I was happy. Attended their theatre for a play. Great small theatre with ample sitting for theatrical performances or lectures. Seats have fold out writing table for conferences. Entrance has the option of providing food and liquor services. Beautiful entry way with stone waterfall located inside the main doors. Available for use by Not for profits and charitable organizations.

I purchased their Walden Place condo unit and think Cardel Lifestyles provide great quality of products and service. Home's basic materials are much better than other competitors, of course I upgraded some parts and love it.I really like the open style kitchen and living room, and double vanity ensuite bathroom. In my research, not many builders provide a bigger bathroom than mine surprisingly. I was also surprised by the fact that Walden Place's condo plans are actually more organized and cleaner than higher price range of some stacked style townhomes.Overall, I recommend to go for checking their plans if you are looking for a modern, functional and worthy place.

I have been happily in my condo for almost 20 months and am still amazed at the quality and workmanship I get to live in.
