Highlands Retirement Residence The

Seven months ago, my aunt and uncle relocated to The Highlands and i helped get them moved and settled in. i was a guest for 3 to 4 days and then periodicly as I was also moving my sister to the coast. We were astounded by the relaxed, cozy atmosphere , the lovely private, park like setting, and moreso the quality of meals, staff, and extras offered to the residents.The whole time I was there, I felt comfortably at home, i call every day to see what culinary delights they enjoyed throughout the day and did they enjoy tea and crafts or cards or sing along. they have it all here . i can't wait until i can move in and be part of this wonderful little community. The quality of life, the wonderful staff, the wonderful food, puts me at ease knowing how well they are being treated. Oh yes, if you ever try the quiche and home made soups, your name will be on their waiting list before you leave. This will be my future forever home.

Been here 3 years. Great fir older residents. LOVELY CARING staff. Meals great. Lots of things to do. Rec director Lisa always has something going. Celebrations for holidays, games, cook Lorie is super 16 years and getting even better. The yards are beautiful.. If you are very active and dont have a car its a little far out. The shuttke runs twice a week though. Best bang fir your buck.
