Extensive beer list, which I included in the photos, food was good, wasn’t particularly busy when we went so ambience was ok. Enjoyed our time

Great pub with patio seating, wide selection of German and other European beers on tap. Came here for a late dinner and was surprised by attentive and fast service. Tried Grilled Calamari and Mussels, both were good.

I loved the selections of beers on offer here, however, the patio was much too crowded to sit comfortably. After having to essentially climb in and out of our table of 4, we were asked to move our tables and chairs forward 3 or 4 inches to allow the table behind us more room. An hour or so later we were asked to move our table back so the table behind us could sit. We had to go to the bathroom in groups because if one of us was getting up to go to the bathroom it was easier for us all to go and cause less disruption later. We ended up striking up conversation with the table beside us as we were basically all sitting together. Then, after spending c.$300 including tip on just drinks between 4 of us my partner and friend said they would use the bathrooms before leaving. I waited for them to return before getting up and the host immediately came over and asked if we would give our table up as we had already paid. We told them we would leave the table after our partners had returned from the washroom. It’s a shame as the food looked nice and I did enjoy the drinks, however they should remove 3 tables from the patio to give everyone a bit more personal space. If the patio is busy and you want to sit outside on a summer night it’s not worth it

Great vibe and beer list! My schnitzel was extremely dry but my husband enjoyed his pork shoulder. The beer list is expansive! But our server was a little scatterbrained — messed up my order after I confirmed several times (gave me chicken schnitzel when I ordered pork).

Came here for the patio and was disappointed with how crowded the tables are, if you’re sitting at a 2 seater table you’ll be back to back with the table behind you and less than a foot away from the table beside you. Also was quite disappointed with the pork schnitzel and currywurst sausage as both didn’t taste the best. That being said, the beer here is excellent. They have a great selection of European beers and each one I tried was delicious. Friendly staff as well. Would return but recommend sitting inside if the patio is crowded and wouldn’t order the food again.

Always such a good vibe here. Came here on a cold December Friday night and the place was packed, yet so cozy. We sat upstairs by the bar and and ordered the Java brew on tap, lamb shank dinner and cordon blue schnitzel (although this was disappointing as it was just the ham and cheese on top). Overall come here for drinks and a great time, not so much the food.

Great pub if you're looking to try some delicious and unique beers. We stopped in out of curiosity and had a lovely time chatting with the bartender and some folks sitting at the bar. Excellent service, atmosphere and conveniently located across the Marshalls, in case you need a break from shopping!

Pretty busy little pub but the vibe was good. Servers were really friendly. It was good to see them also enjoying with the crowd having their own drinks. Makes them look more humane than just serving the customers on a Friday night (which they should also enjoy in life I think).
