Traveled with A La Carte Travel and Tours to Egypt in November 2018. I knew signing up that the trip was going to be a unique experience. We were visiting Egypt, how could it not be!I had not however, anticipated how well planned and orchestrated the trip would turn out to be.Our guide, Elia, left no detail to chance and went far above and beyond what I had expected. His love for, and, vast knowledge of, Egypt was nothing short of amazing! A five star rating does not do justice.Thank you Elia for making this a truly memorable and totally unforgettable trip.

Oh my goodness. Our private sailing vessel on the Nile... For the week!!!!Our trained chef and full staff with 8 bedrooms, made our small group of friends feel very spoiled indeed.To have the great pyramid of giza exclusivity for our group and special access into the Oserium of Abydos was a lifetime dream of mine....Hot air ballooning over thd west bank of Luxor... And all of thd other tours were so special.So thank you Elia and a ka carte for making it all happen with such grace, splendor and fun, fun, fun.

I took a guided spiritual retreat of Egypt with Elia being our guide in November 2018. From the start, we were treated with utmost respect and with the best the country could offer. Our accommodations were 5 star with every possible extra to make the rooms more pleasant and exactly whatever each individual needed. Elia' s passion for his country, as well as the history of it, were exceptional and accurate. Being in charge of a large group of 22 had it's challenges but Elia and Tam, and his other helpers, always made us feel safe and important throughout the tour of pyramids and temples. I would certainly book another tour with Elia, especially in Egypt.

The services Elia provides are absolutely top-notch! I have traveled with him several times and each time I am more impressed. His attention to detail is impeccable as is his loving and kind nature. Few people understand how much goes into planning a perfect trip especially when there is more than one person attending, but no request ever goes unattended nor is too trivial. He makes everyone feel like a king or queen. I also find it very comforting to travel with him into Third World territories… His education and finesse with different cultures allows his clientele to truly be at ease knowing they can trust his highly attuned judgment.

We spent few days in Egypt and Elia was a super HOST, his profound knowledge of Egypt, the traditions, the culture, is priceless. Being in the museums close to him, is kind of walking with an open book!He also managed to give us the GREATEST experience I ever had, we enter into the pyramid, we meditated in there.He carefully look out for every detail, every step we made there was absolutely amazing.I felt secure, protected, and I learnt a lot about Cairo and Amarna.Everything very classy and high level!, just the way we love and deserve.I definitely will come back!, and he became my fav tour company!
