This is a response to Ian Tyerman. The Club did not cancel the Hangover Bonspiel. The Club Manager raised the costs a modest amount over past years to accommodate inflation and our growing costs and the organizers of the bonspiel pulled out as a result. We were sorry to see them cancel and it was unexpected to us. I'm also sorry you were inconvenienced as a result -- a Board member.

I don't curl for medical reasons, but it is nice to watch sometimes. What I really want to say is that this establishment is very supportive of the community and always all smiles. Thank you.

I played in a bonspiel and a few birthday parties here. The staff are friendly. Especially the bartender. Really nice guy. Drinks are very affordable. Just a really nice atmosphere. Tons of parking outside.

River, trails through beautiful forested Valley side. Accompanied by recreational platforms, sport fields and tourist attractions that would keep every member of the family not only happy, but hoping to come back for more and more everytime.

The Nanaimo Curling Centre’s recently renovated upstairs makes a beautiful space for a reception or both ceremony and reception as we did. This space is large and versatile and was equipped with a fully stocked bar with a ton of variety including beer and wine on tap. For ease of planning, they are equipped with tables, chairs, dishes, their own bar, and even their own caterer! Andrea, the manager, was always willing to answer all my questions and was accommodating to many of our requests. I highly recommend the Nanaimo Curling Centre as a venue!!

Very thankful for the warm welcome we received when we first moved to the Island. Have thoroughly enjoyed our curling experience here despite the Covid restrictions .
