I wanted to make sure I give this school the review it deserves.Throughout the years, I took two courses: one was an anatomy drawing class several years ago followed by 'Perspective' with Lindsey Rosenow.Each time I received technical expertise, lots of attention, and a solid learning experience that left me feeling satisfied.As an instructor, Lindsey Rosenow , showed interest in my development and was patient in teaching me trickier elements whilst being one of the kindest teachers I have ever come across.I highly recommend this school and its lovely teachers.

We are a family of 3. We withdrew our application after we learned that Mask wearing is Mandatory in classes even if you have medical conditions contradicts that. No explanations were given as to why. Public health , Canada health as lifted all Mask restrictions based on science. Getting a refund was not a straightforward process.

First lecture at TSA and what a great atmosphere. I have a locker there I cannot unlock yet but I have unlocked the secrets to drawing already.I will definitely follow up with different courses. Tina Oehmsen-Clark was amazing today, I'm filled with inspiration and motivation to improve.

went to TSA for portfolio development back in 2004 before they moved to current location. Most memorable art moment in my life. Instructors were very committed and friendly, and they did open my eyes towards art.

889 is Toronto’s best school of art. For years, I’ve taken courses across all disciplines and been exceptionally impressed. The professional staff motivates and inspires. It’s also a wonderful and connected community to the art world in Canada.

I have taken multiple classes here, my favourites being the Life Drawing course taught by Thomas Hendry and Painting Foundations by Brian Harvey. The instructors are amazing artists and great at teaching and providing feedback, while allowing students to maintain their own voice in art. The studios are spacious, equipped and quiet. I highly recommend TSA to any one looking to deepen their skills in art.

This semester I took the Botanical drawing class with Celia and it's exactly what I was looking for. She's a great teacher and had so many techniques and ideas that I didn't even know about. I just wish it was longer.
