Durham's Elite Driving School

He is a horrible, greedy and selfish instructor. He's only concerned about squeezing money out of his students without providing any value. He stays on his phone throughout in car lessons trying to schedule other appointments so he doesnt even notice your road skills and confidence. He forces you to be on his own schedule. He uses you as a chauffer to go buy coffee and pick up other students. He wastes time on your lesson to smoke and never gives you the full time you paid for. He encourages every student to travel out to Lindsay so he can charge $300 for using his car and gets upset when you aren't interested. I could go on and on. Everything is wrong with this man. run as far as you can and look for a credible driving instructor.

Wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He smokes right on your face when you are driving and makes you wait outside of places while he goes in for half of the lesson. Also if you don't take his recommendation of taking the test like 200km away from the nearest drive test, he purposely sets you up to fail. Extremely unprofessional. Would not recommend

I had a very very bad experience with this driving school's instructor. He was a Pakistani and i think his name was Asif Ali, he is a continues smoker when we are in the car, also he makes phone calls for making another appointments and he didn't notice even if we made any mistake. Also his main intention is to make more money from each students adding more classes instead of teaching. He is a very poor instructor i believe and he is dying for money. He will recommend you to change the date and time for his convenience also he will suggest Lindsey for making appointment and he will charge $300 or more for the driving test. Even if we have a car he will tell us to don't take our own car or rent a car, because there are more chances to fail if you are using your own car. So please choose any other driving school for your successful result.

Highly UNRECCOMENDED! after hundreds of dollars spent I still do not know how to drive. Instructor was constantly on his phone during lessons, and would try to instruct me with his hands without speaking to me, and then yell at me when I didnt understand what he wanted me to do. I had to ask multiple times for him to pay attention to me. I felt like I was a cab driver, there wasn't a single lesson where we didnt stop to run an errand for him. I never got a full hours lesson, the time I would spend waiting for him to do his business would be included in my lesson time. It is all a money grab - he will try to convince you to add extra lessons and go out to Linsday for your test at an extra $300 cost to you. He literally told me I would fail if I didnt go there for the test, trying to scare me into handing over another $300. I also paid to use the school car for my G2 test which he tried to say I never did to scam me into paying for it again. The insurance discount isnt worth the headache. I learned nothing and wasted tons of money. Stay away and save yourself the stress!!!

Started off really scared and anxious to drive but after my in car lessons I feel confident and excited to drive! By the end of my lessons I was even driving on the highway with my driving instructor Asif. So glad the Durham Elite has helped me become a safe and smart driver

I got my G2 with this school on my first try, worth every penny. Best driving school in Durham region, informative instructors who advocate for being a safe driver.

Super helpful and I learned LOTS, I love how they can help you get your G2 Quick, I have had my gq for years and it's almost expired, thankfully I am able to get it in just 3 short months with Durham elite driving school!

I recently obtained my G2 licence on the first try! The lessons I took through Durham's Elite were extremely helpful in boosting my confidence while driving as well as teaching me how to drive safely in various situations. My instructor was Asif - I appreciated that he encouraged me to drive without a lot of comments from him (unless needed!) - I feel that helped me in making my own decisions while driving and allowed me to learn faster. The only criticism I would have is that I would prefer a smoke-free car. The price for the lessons is also very inexpensive!

Amazing driving school, highly recommended for anyone learning to drive. I had a great experience, only took 5 lessons and passed my g2 test on the first try.

Best driving school in Durham region. Many different packages available for in-class and on-road training. They schedule accordingly as per your request. Pick/drop services also available. Very friendly and courteous owner Mr Asif. You guys are the best!!
