We had the pleasure of working with ShotLife for our engagement shoot and wedding. Lusine, Jacob, and Martin were so easy to work with and made us feel relaxed during the entire process. I immediately had a good feeling when I had my first phone call with Lusine, and I knew I wanted to work with her. She was professional, detailed, kind, and responsive. ShotLife did both our photography and videography, and we wouldn't have had it any other way! Where to begin?! Every single time we look back at our wedding photos, we’re just in pure awe! I keep rediscovering a shot that I love better than the last. Shotlife made a wedding dream come true for us and we thank our lucky stars that we signed on with them. I knew their work was amazing but nothing prepared me for how much I would love my own wedding photos. The planning stage was so professional and organized, and the wedding day was such a lovely memory (both in real life and in photos). We were running behind on schedule and they offered some sound advice on making itinerary adjustments so that we would still get all the shots we wanted without compromising our event program. I can't even begin to express how grateful we were to have Lusine take photos of our wedding!!! From beginning to end, she was extremely responsive, professional, and kind; she is easily THE best person to work with between all our vendors!!! She was also super understanding and flexible when we had to post-pone engagement photos multiple times due to a weird allergic reaction I was dealing with; words really cannot express enough how thankful and happy we were to have booked her!!The photos that came out, WOW!!! They are like the gorgeous photos that you'd see on Pinterest!!!! I've attached some of our favorites here so you can see for yourself! Maybe we are biased, but they certainly are the best photos we had ever gotten taken!!!! How did you make us look so good?! We are absolutely not models of any sort and have never taken photos professionally before, so seeing how gorgeous these turned out + how she captured some of the genuine candid moments really made us re-live the day of the wedding all over again!!! Also wanted to add; they came quite quickly!!! I think about 2 weeks?? We had heard of places that take months to return your photos so this was a really pleasant surprise!To anyone who is considering, just go with Shotlife!!! Between Shotlife and another highly recommended studio, it was Lusine's professional and calm demeanor that really won us over! We used Shotlife Studio for our wedding photography and videography. Brides make sure you get a long veil so you can take awesome veil photos. We coordinated with our MC to do group shots at the venue so be sure to remember to do that too. We did our engagement photos at Spadina House and our wedding photos at Centennial Park Conservatory. Both of those places required permits but the photos were BEAUTIFUL in both those locations. My best advice is to take table shots during the dinner. We only did it halfway through dinner and weren't able to get photos with everyone :( We ended up getting between 800-900 photos for the wedding day on a 12 hour shoot. Our video was more than the 45minutes we paid for it ended up being an hour and a half long. Haha so very long. In the morning, my husband had a photographer at his location and I had two at mine. But after that the three of them were always around taking photos and videos without us looking. I won't spoil any surprises but the final video includes special surprises that'll make you cry. Shotlife studio thank you so much for your help on our wedding day. May you continue to pursue your passion of photo and video and have a long successful career. As we approach our 1 year wedding anniversary, I have been looking back at the videos and photos that Shotlife captured of our special day, and I could not be happier that we worked with them! They captured every moment - the ones we asked for and the ones we forgot to highlight in advance. My niece wasn’t feeling well the day of our wedding and missed out on several photos, and they even went above and beyond to photoshop her into some family pictures at our request. They turned around a sneak peak album plus a short highlight video within DAYS of our wedding. The provided over 1000 edited beautiful pictures and various video trailer edits including a long video of the day start to finish. We could not be happier with the service that Shotlife delivered… not to mention, they make you feel incredibly comfortable being in front of the camera and are so kind, calming, flexible, and patient.
